In the older seasons the queens kept the shade pretty evenly distributed, whereas Luxx and Mistress were getting hate for targeting two of the girls. Quite the difference imo…
Looking back the “drama” wasn’t even as crazy as previous seasons. Kind of wild to think of all the online harassment and hate Mistress and Luxx were getting for these mild moments
The fans got used to fake nice queens they are only there for booking / gigs post show.
nah, it was drama girl... but the usual drama of regular human politics. people misunderstand each other, they talk, argue/fight and move on... especially close people. the problem is the fans interjecting themselves into it and dragging it and making it long.

Irene is more memorable and had more screen time in 1 episode then like most of the queens and she was only in 1 episode ICONIC

Producers probably scout out future All Stars contestants or potential queens. She's marketable and unique compared to a lot of queens. She has more personality than 75% of the cast

Apparently people seem to complain about a season being RuPaul's Best Friend Race with so many likeable and friendly queens and has no real villain but when there's a queen took the role of the villain they immediately hate them and even go as far as send them death threats and report their social accounts smh. I mean come on, they are the reason the season is so entertaining and watchable, and as nasty and villianous as they are on the show, they don't actually behave like that in real life. The fandom's toxicity is the reason why the queens in recent seasons don't wanna go all the way with their shadiness due to afraid of getting hated and death threats.

The "who goes home" question shows not the queen's specific personalities, but it shows the region they grew up in. The Connecticut/Northeast girls are structured rule followers (it's why you get honked at the second you don't drive when the light turns green) so they look at track record, the southern girls talk about wanting to beat the biggest competition because it's a pageant answer, and then the West Coast is all about loyalty/betrayals.

In one episode, Irene made herself more marketable and more memorable than half the queens we've ever seen. It's honestly kind of impressive. I'm gooped and gagged that they let her go that early. Because she had the potential to go top four, easily. Not to mention the energy to have made a truly chaotic storyline together with Mistress.
Duh she had a clear character … but that doesn’t necessarily equal she would make it to top 4

The most gag worthy moment the whole season is Luxx go one by one with compliment and the generic comment to Loosey

Honestly the Mistress and Malaysia argument hurt them both. Mistress is shady but that argument bothered her.
What I really liked about this season’s drama was that there was plenty of it, but it never turned into full out arguments/yelling matches. I’m tired of best friends race, but I don’t enjoy watching the queens throw everything but the kitchen sink at each other either.
No one as shady as giving no screen time from the Connecticut queen😭
