I’ve rewatched the episode a few times and I still didn’t really see Rosé being unsportsmanlike when she got the pork chop, I saw it as more of being confused on both parts. She just got onto her dream show for five minutes only to believe she lost and didn’t get to show anything off in a twist so I would be hella confused too

Sitting through 13 brand new queen contestants having to panic their way through 6 immediate lip synchs for their lives was the most unsatisfying, unpleasant TV watching since Game of Thrones decided to flush their series down the toilet in their final season.
Do not do this to the audience and the contestants again.
After all the global miseries of 2020, starting 2021 off by putting the audience and queens through that was depressing and deflating.

one of the highlights for me this ep was utica saying "i'll get you for this, rupaul!!!"
As soon as I saw that they were doing the lipsyncs and doing the "pork chop" thing, it seemed obvious that they were doing it to sort the girls in half so that they could only have six girls in the werk room at a time for social distancing. It was just a stunt-based sorting method to make it seem more fair. Girls like Rose and Tamisha most likely were put into the other team in order to level out the groups in terms of experience and talent. It seemed like the "winners" were unpacking their stuff at every other station too and so the "losers" will probably be then moving into those ones so that there's space between them when they're in there. I'm guessing they will be competing on alternating instances to keep the groups separate, but then will bring them back together when they've gotten to six girls total. I'm finding it super weird that they didn't mention the pandemic or that none of them seemed to think similarly to what I'm thinking, so I'm guessing they were told not to outside of that very brief mention from Kandy Muse.
I wondered if only allowing 2 girls in the work room was a social distancing thing as well! I know there are very specific rules in place (ESPECIALLY in LA) about the number of people allowed on a set including directors and camera crew, so I'll be interested to see if they keep the girls separate as long as you are predicting.

No. They (cast AND production) got tested, spent two weeks in quarantine, got tested again and entered the bubble. They don't need to mask around each other, because they are only ever around each other.
@@thecompendium9607 Yea L.A. has very strict covid prevention guidelines I've heard from various artists/sources so the film industry can do their thing. If they don't follow them to the T they are fined big time. Unfortunately it will make production costs more costly for TV & movies, sadly.
Kinda knew Bob wouldn't be hosting the Pit Stop this season when he announced him and Monet would be talking about it on the podcast. I'm so excited for this season.
I love Trixie and glad she's hosting, but I'd love it even more if Bob was hosting it. It is always marginally funnier with Bob hosting.
