@@silentsaturn7604 and in dela's case, she also clearly cares about the behind-the-scenes aspects of performances as well. most other queens are used to showing up and lipsyncing their sets, but since dela self-produces her own shows, i can see why it would be difficult for her to put her show in someone else's hands. may be annoying for others, but makes no sacrifices where end product is concerned.

Spot on. There's a great interview with her by Joseph Shepherd about All Stars 3 and she essentially says she'd had enough of production and wanted to be in charge of her own destiny.

I just want to remind people that statistically, BenDeLaCreme is the most successful contestant score-wise in RPDR herstory. This is just another reminder for me. Her expressions, outfits ~ Michelle was right, she really does know her body so well.
I mean, she was in the top 4 times consecutively in AS3, she is the only queen who won the Snatch Game twice, and she's one of three Miss Congenialities who won multiples challenges in her season (The other two are Latrice and Nina West)

But she was kept around for drama, which just made people dislike her and her horrible attitude more and more each week. Then her staying over superior queens makes even more people dislike her. This season honestly has been one of the driest seasons yet. But the girls are beyond polished, and think that maybe a contributing factor. They are looking like they are on ALL star level... but the cast storylines and personalities have been great. But the challenges have been dry
@@Coupeboyy The queen's aren't the issue, it's that there is no narrative. The best drag race seasons tell a good story e.g. Jynx rising from underdog to winner, Bianca being an ice queen that slowly melts, new drag vs old school drag with Sharon etc. There is no arc to follow this season. The queen's are just there. The whole effort for keeping Kandy in for drama and then there isn't even any drama. If she would have gone home instead of doing the double shantay , what would be different? Nothing, she doesn't add anything, she's just safe and mouthes off from time to time. this season is just slowly, very slowly limping towards the finish line so Symone can be crowned the winner, which might be deserved but it doesn't make for good TV if there are no obsticales to overcome or any sort of character growth along the way.
