  • We ride to the famous motorcycle meet up point of Box Hill in Surrey on my 2010 Triumph Bonneville 865.
Even on a Monday, there were a huge amount of motorbikes out- everything from Harley Davidsons to Ducatis.
At the top of Box Hill is a great lookout point, and at the bottom is Ryka's Cafe- a popular motorcycle meet up point.
We also get the drone out to show the stunning surrounding area!
Great roads, beautiful views, lots of motorcycles out enjoying themselves and 19 degrees- a perfect day.

Wow that brings back memories. Back in 1979/80 as a 16/17 year old, we would race up and down Box Hill on our 50cc then 250cc motorcycles. It was a motorcycle mecca back in those days and bikers would ride from miles around, talk bikes and do silly things like challenge each other to races up and down the hill....of coarse i was never involved in this foolish behaviour...i merely observed.👍👍

Hi Freddie, great video. I picked up on your channel as I am looking at the new speed master, loved your reviews, but have to say this video brings back some memories. You mentioned box hill 30years ago and I realised that’s around the last time I rode there, mid / late 90s, with some very good friends of the then Thames valley advanced motorcycles (may have been Basingstoke Advanced back then) I am Now in NZ, since 2004, so nice to see the old places, and yes great without the speed bumps! Love the channel.

I recently sold my 2016 Triumph Scrambler in the mat blue. I rode it for three years as a weekend adventure and long distance cruiser. It was brilliant and made a majestic note. I had a sidecar itch to scratch and two dogs that were willing and able. I've since sold it and bought a Moto Guzzi v9 Bobber, another lovely ride but wish I would have found a way to keep my air cooled triumph. I'm really enjoying your vids. Cheers!

I can remember in the 90’s it got so crowded with bikes on Sundays the late comers had of park up outside, beside the road leading up the hill. On weekdays in Summer the cafe was open till 11:30 at night - no more, those days have gone forever.

The Bonneville's been the most rugged, reliable bike I've ever owned. The only thing that sometimes plays up is the ignition (faulty key barrel- a common-is fault)- meaning one in every 20 journeys I have to cross the starter solenoid with a screw driver to start it. Apart from oil changes (done by myself), it has cost me £200 in 2.5 years. I LOVE it
