- I picked up the Axial SCX24 Chevrolet C10 in both colors, grey and light green. I had my doubts about the truck but after running it for a little bit decided that it can be a great little truck. I have ordered a lot of after market parts for it that will be in soon. Keep an eye out for that video. It really is a fun little truck that should be in every RC collection. Thanks for watching.

Grey one , got that Big Cypress Swamp looks to it & small enough for the Camping hot & dull hrs.
I love my SCX24, I got the deadbolt and I want to get one of this truck bodies, it looks really good, great review man 👍

G'day m8.... i just bought a SCX24 deadbolt as a returning rc''er! As an entry level into crawling, i like the fact Axial have spares and third party upgrades like its Big brothers. For me its been 10yrs since last drove or flew, and dam! Tech in RC has change so much. Cheers m8, i just subbed, from the Land Downunder!

I actually got the scx24 jeep Rubicon. I cut the fenders an I'm doing a bunch of other realistic mods to it also extending the wheel base with green halo lights, angry vader grille etc 😁 & rc4wd wheels an tires. Should be here within the week. I'll eventually start recording on my channel
Very cool. Yeah, I went overboard with hop up parts. Hot Racing makes a bunch of stuff, I couldn't resist. Hahaha

Yeah man, with the plastic models actually fitting on the chassis also, there are plenty of options out the to make it your own. Very addictive little rc. Haha

Yeah the grey one looks baddd! But, I had to get the green one too cause it looks nice and retro. Lol going to go all in with the grey and maybe slowly build the green over time.

Really not so disappointed in the motor myself, it really brings the performance into scale. Wasn't my preference, but got the Deadbolt while making a trip to a FaHS (Far away Hobby Shop) before the Chevy's were released and hoping that I find the grey. Not that it is an issue finding it.. it's the shipping issues because of the battery included. I can get the batteries from a source later.
Yeah the motor actually surprised me too. Fun little truck with lots of potential. Had to get the Chevy body one.
Awesome little trucks my daughters got ftx mini 2.0 defender pritty similar but that chevy body is stunning 👍great upload

Dude........I just picked one of these up! Only thing I would say I have to complain about would be at least for me is that on mine the led lights grab the front tires and make the rubbing noise you are able to hear even this video here only thing I could do to resolve the issue is to remove the led lights all together and let me tell you it makes all the difference in the world even on a flat surface I was hearing the truck struggle to make left turns as soon as I removed the lights the issue when away! It's just a bummer the truck it's self is advertised as rtr and with leds to only have this issue. .....my only solution to really enjoy the included plug and play leds would be to move them up to the actual head lights them selves which is doable they are functional they just have the sticker over them out of the box as sold rtr only issue with that is that there's not enough wire to be able to do that and be able to open the vehicle body up do to the fact that it is a hinged setup ......none the less I feel a simple adding of a little more wire and a clean wire hiding job this truck would be a amazing or of the box little truck! So as of now I'm no longer running lights and it's been such a fun little rig to play with my 4 year old absolutely loves it the low to high and medium gears make it suitable for all ages just learning to control rc trigger style set up and with the added crawling capabilities it has no struggle going over new driver mistake obstacles like shoes and toys it's really a blast to watch!

@@BuyitBreakitFixit I'm sort of new to the hobby so I wasn't sure if bending them would be ok. I took the lights out until I can extend them.

is it possible.. it it will sound crazy.... could you add one of those ESS Engine sound systems to one of these? yea.. It is big and would need to be modified.. but is it possible?
I am sure you could. The Jeep would be the one to do because of the body and so much room in the back. Now that would be cool.
Are all the scx24 the same other than the bodies? To me the jeep looks more capable of crawling and the the tires look bigger to me??
They are different. Most have different wheelbases along with tires.
I bet you would be big on that little truck lol

You won't regret it. Google scx24 parts...hot racing makes a lot of stuff for it.rc4wd 1.0" wheels and some tires. Man, I could keep going. Good luck. Hahaha

@@justins6465 I think it does pretty good out of the box. I had no frustration factor like I usually do with something like this. Servo seems decently strong and so does the motor. But yeah, 400 and beast mode. Hahaha

Hahaha don't know if I said that but I will definitely stand behind that. I do like my Chevys.
Does it come with the charger for the battery?
It does but it is not the best and has been known to be an issue. Best thing is to solder on a different connector so you can use a real charger to charge it.
