Yup the steering can be a problem, great upgrades, you are only missing the Hot Racing brass hexes and drive shafts, that's pretty much it 650.00 dollars later, trust me I'm getting there my self lol 👍
I know that the video was mounted some time ago, but I personally mounted the steering rods the other way round, it required turning the servo upside down. As in the shock absorbers, the rings holding the rubber bands are smaller on one side. Mounting as you did may result in their loss. I do not know if it will be useful to someone, but after such a change for me it is much better and the sign HR is visible on the front :)
Super cool man. I just ordered one of these, and was looking around for upgrades. Came across your channel, and it's great man. Got a new sub. Thanks a ton for these vids.
@@ReadySetRC indoor. I have already run on my outdoor, it does ok. On my outdoor, I picked certain parts and filled the gaps so I could run the 1/24 there. Lol kinda a two for one

Thanks brother. They are ridiculously small. Magnets are my best friend, until the stainless comes into the picture. Lol
Nice! The truck is looking sweet! Im still working on converting my dead bolt into a jeep. I definitely need to get the hr steering linkage.
Sweet. Yeah the steering link is a must. Takes all the play out.
I just pre-ordered mine I wanted the truck but I just couldn't get away from the jeep it keep calling me LoL 🤜🤛
Hey, that is understandable. The heart wants what it wants. Lol thanks for watching.
Sorry if you went over this, watching at work with no sound. But did you upgrade the steering servo before installing the aluminum steering link?
Man where dud you get that tray/car stand? That's a nice piece.
A friend of mine designed it. Sent me the file and I 3d printed it. You have a printer?
@@BuyitBreakitFixit Unfortunately no. But a friend of mine has one.
What is the benefit of the last part you put on , rear upper link mount. Just curious.
Nothing really, just strength and looks.
What size links do you have for your truck on the bottom
did you put any oil in the shocks? if yes which oil? thanks nice video!
I used a tiny little dab of marine grease. Helps slow them down a little.
Thank you!
Hi there. Could you tell me what Rod ends you used for links?
The links were custom mad by a guy in the scx24 facebook group. I am not really sure what he uses. Sorry.
