- It’s one of the world’s most popular dishes: butter chicken. While people are feasting on the delicious Indian delicacy, they’re probably not thinking about who came up with this recipe. Even the cooks at an Indian restaurant in London aren’t sure of its origins, but getting the glory for this creation is a battle that two restaurants have taken to court in New Delhi. I don’t know why I clicked.
I know why I clicked. Cuz I'm fadeddddd
Because butter chicken is delicious?
I clicked because butter chicken

Whoever invented Butter Chicken thank you 😌
They deserve the best 🎉
Ikr it's the bomb❤❤❤
@@jofbeats11Tikki Masala is better
its ok haha
It’s not even that good lol it’s kinda boring/bland tbh.
Wow that's like KFC beefing with Popeye's Chicken for who came up with the first Fried Chicken😂😂😂😂😂😂
It’s well documented on that one. The history is interesting and that’s why people stake their mark.
This is like that Spongebob episode with Plankton and Krabs arguing about who invented Krabby Patty
no... it's more like an invention that was stolen from an employee by someone higher than him.
I'm sure they both taste amazing. How about just keep selling your own version of butter chicken and stop giving lawyers money.
I would love to try both, you know that if they're ready to go to court over their food, that food is going to be one of the best things you'll ever eat.
almost 100percent none of those 2 restaurants invented it.
Maybe, I live in Delhi and the best butter chicken or chicken changezi i ever eat is in daryaganj and jama masjid. They had everything Mutton korma, Chicken Kabab with Rumali roti, chicken tikka etc. You can't find the the that taste anywhere in the World.
Judge: Okay folks, bring a sample I taste first 😐
wtf? I’ve seen this dish at every Indian restaurant.
Isn't it at every Indian restaurant ever exist in the world?
It's a British food
@@jensenjorshina9945absolutly not

Garlic naan 🐐
Garlic Butter Tallon Naan
With rice 😋🤤
I swear all the background music on youtube comes from sonic games just listen to this one.
It actually sounds like Good Vibrations from Mark Wahlberg, smfh.
I love butter chicken. I think that is my most favorite Indian cuisine.
Worry about who makes it best.
exactly
The butter chicken looks so delicious! 🤤
Person: you’ll be in court!
Restaurant chief: have you tried this?
Person:never mind it’s good give me more!
Watching this now makes me want to buy some butter chicken now ❤
Never tried it! But this video wants me want to try this ❤
Never had it nor have I heard of it before. Looks delicious though I’ll have to give it a try.
The trophy and title should go to the best tasting butter chicken, and the public should decide.
Never heard of it and now I want it
You have never heard of butter chicken!? You poor soul go get some haha
Indian food is so delicious and aromatic. My favorite dish is chicken tikka masala.
.... and now Im craving Butter Chicken. Thank you Inside Edition.
Butter chicken is delish
First tried it in the Maldives. Hooked!
Did they censor the last word? Sounds like she was about to say "We salute him" but they censored "him" with a weird auido effect
Relax...It was just a sound glitch, stop trying to "stir up" something trying to manufacture something where there isn't anything
@@mia1shooter What was he trying to stir up? I thought that was weird too, but no need to also stir up something between him, because nobody likes a person that assumes. :(
@@SpecialNeedsChamp999Stir up some butter chicken obviously
@@VonHohenstaufen He did not mention stirring up chicken? He said to the commenter that he was trying to stir up something, I get that it's a joke but he also doesn't know that, it also means that you're trying to "start trouble" and I don't think the commenter was, he just didn't know why the lady was weirdly censored at the end? (Common sense)
Inside edition editing has gotten lazier so it is 101% a glitch audio
I ate Tikka Masala with Naan for lunch. Yum.
I love me some butter chicken. First time I tried it, I was at my cousins husbands house who was Indian/pakistani, and they were bringing me food to eat. I was real nervous that if I didn’t like the food I would
Offend them that I won’t be able to eat more than 1 or 2 bites. After the first bite I was amazed and in love!
this petty battle has been going on for years and has already been covered by multiple CZcams segments.
This reminds me of a key and peele sketch.
I tried to make it once, but it turned out horrible. I hope to try it someday. It's looks so good
Butter chicken 4ever
The music sounded like monkey ball music lol

Wanting butter chicken rn but gotta wait till

The founder had to be someone from a small poor village in India
The instrumental sounds like good vibration....shout out marky mark

I make a very good butter chicken. It’s always requested and whoever invented it is a godsend! Next time, I’ll grill the chicken because it might be better.
its actually panner butter masala concept came to butter chicken
Now I want to put butter chicken 🐔 on my Mexican restaurant menu 😊
Non of these people invented butter chicken I ate this chicken in Mangalore in South in 1965 there it was known as tandoori chicken masala and name of the restaurant was wood side and other one was paradise.exactly with same ingredients
I haven't eaten enough to tell the difference between curry, butter chicken, and tikki masala...but I love them all.
French Chiefs where doing that since 1700s
Wasn’t butter chicken like a royal dish or something like that?
yes, most indians do not eat like this at home. This is meant to be enjoyed on special occasions. Local cuisine looks totally different. Just search up traditional andhra meal to get a better idea what average Indians eat daily. It is like comparing peasant food to kings food - in Europe the commoners used to eat pea porridge soup with bread crumbs while the kings enjoyed high class food
Butter chicken
So we have a Thomas Edison and Tesla moment going on here
Anyone liking the “good vibrations “ beat bumping in the background 😎🤪😅🤣
In Delhi non of the restaurants was making till 1974
I had it on LI and my stomach didn't agree with it.
Out of all the conflicts I heard of, this one is the most strange I have saw.
But hey, it's better than going to war, pass the naan.....
Rasgulla and Basmati Rice have their own conflicts too.
Okay who decided to play sweet vibration?
He said , thirsts iddoo curry, me wannnnn curry curry yo money yyyyy our. Wom an doooopnnt shaveeeeee thiiiiirrrrerreeerer haiirrrryyyyyyyy styles. 🐈
Yum! My third-favourite dish on earth, after my mom's lasagne and her spaghetti bolognese ❤❤❤❤❤❤.
It OK. Rich sauce with the dairy, base and spices. Usually you get few chunks of chicken and pay for that sauce, which is decent with good rice and flat bread. Slightly over rated, prefer tandoori chicken.
Butter chicken is the greatest dish ever invented. If you don't get enough of that marinated tandoori chicken, blame your restaurant. Here in India, we get a lot of chicken.
Butter Chicken is my favorite Indian dish
It doesn't really matter. You can't copyright food. The second you start serving a dish. Someone can come and knock it off and serve it in their restaurant. In fact, that's what restaurant owners do all the time.
I don’t even like butter chicken
Wait till they hear about the hamburger in the usa..... every small town
Indian food is amazing, but butter chicken is so overrated.
You got to try the Monkey Brains or the Rat Intestines. I know, I thought the same way until I tried them.
"And of course, butter." There's no butter in the sauce lmao. It's called that because the chicken is soft like butter.
Tandoori chicken is just better Butter chicken imo
seriousy has no one watched gordon ramseys trip to india? he goes to the place where it was invented, moti mahal ! lol
I believe the story of the undercook's recipe being stolen. It's always someone taking credit for others work.
Never had it , is it like mole?
Moti Mahal should also work on cleanliness in their restaurants and probably work on newer recipes as well.
I’m more Palak Paneer my self 🤤🤤🥘
I love butter chicken
Obviously it came from ancient China. Dates way back 90 million years ago
Luv butter chicken
It looks the same way when it's coming out. 💩
They didn’t invent chicken butter
Nothing tops lamb dhansak!
But who invented the chicken? 🧐
I love chicken in general 😋
Slow news in India ?
My Great Grandfather invented it 🤓
Amazing Brother. I got the reference 😅

@@Dancingpenguins NAH I DID LOL
I think it is Moti Mahal that is the best original
Mmmmm butter chicken
Masala is better, butter chicken is too sweet,
Credit goes to the he/she who invented this recipe centuries ago.
Why does an indian have a Portuguese name?
Once upon a time my great grandfather was cooking chicken and the butter fell into the pot hence butter chicken was invented. Nobody talks about it until Trump mentioned it once. 🤔
Which came first? Chicken or Butter Chicken? I think the royalty should be awarded to Chicken. What do you think?
This is kind of cute if you ask me 😂
The other one is a Dalit, therefore he has no Rights to claim it's Origin.
I thought these were Mughlai recipes ☪️
I love butter chicken!!!
Butter chicken hide it or brits will loot it. 😂
I hate butter chicken, chicken curry is far superior for me
The judge for this court should be Gordon Ramsay so that he can taste which one is the genuine recipe.
Im hungry 😫😫😫
Am sure it was 2 Indian guys made it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
this is petty.
Plot twist: whit people invented butter chicken
I thought these were buffalo wings , I'm disappointed 😡
