Absolutely fantastic!!!! I adore absolutely everything In this performance!!!! I am infinitely happy with the music of my beloved and absolutely favourite composer Tchaikovsky, that is infinitely beautiful, colourful, emotional and exuberant of surprises itself!!! Than I am facinated by the absolutely perfect dancing and acting of all of the balletists! The dresses and the background are very nice, colourful and elegant! This performance is very worm, cousy and can make everybody happy!!! Everything is fantastic!!! Thank you for posting this beauty!!! If this is a performance from the training academy and the dancers are actually students - this is really great! And even if not - I enjoyed watching the show.

You mean a ballet company with literally millions of pounds dumped into a single performance does a bigger show than a small rural ballet company? You don't say! Next you're going to say the Broadway version of Wicked is better than a small local theater production.
I like this version much more than absolutely each other that I found in You Tube and the reason for that is ONE - it's with the music of my beloved Tchaikovsky!!!! Don't care how colourful and rich are the other represantations and version of this story. The music of my Tchaikovsky is colourful and exuberant of gracefulness, surprises and beautiful emotions itself and I don't need no more!!!! And also each one of the dancers is very talented here, the dresses are fantastic, colourful and elegant, the background is colourful and elegant also. Me encanto, se pudo sentir el esfuerzo de los personajes al bailar...aunque el final de como escapa Alice me deja medio confundida (en realidad no entendí la historia después de la reacción de la reina de ver los pasteles, a parte de que Alice trataba de ayudar al que culparon, pero no se si fue haciendo una batalla de baile o que XD) pero los bailes fueron todos hermosos....aunque no supera al de la ROH.....pero si podría decir que esta en segundo lugar después de la version de Alice del ROH

Can't we just appreciate the ballet for the dancer's talents and the story they tell and not what race they are?
Rel Fle as a women of color it’s amazing when there is diversity present. It’s easy to take the tone of “let’s just ignore race” when you see yourself represented! Oh and I was actually applauding the valley for having diversity 🥱

Rel Fle Never said you were white, and I thought them attempting to be diverse was worth mentioning since a lack of diversity is a problem in ballet and is a cumbersome problem. Again if you don’t care good for you, but I do!

That's the whole point. I watched a recent Ballet Reign video on how the Tart Adage in particular is meant to parody Sleeping Beauty, and takes some music from there, or mimics it for parody's sake

if i had seen this before english production, i wouldn't have gone again. fortunately, english and australian productions both visually more interesting...and the costumed fitted. tutus are meant to be one piece, not two.

No me disgusta.....pero es aburrido de ver. Es una puesta exenta de atractivo, de magia. la versión del Royal Ballet tiene todo lo que le falta a ésta.
I'm really not a fan of the set design and costuming in this production. It's not nearly fantastical enough.
