Interesting review. The HK base system is excellent but the upgrade to the Bowers Wilkins is in a class by itself. Just took delivery of my iX with the optional BW and starting to fiddle around with the numerous settings, this should keep me busy for awhile 👍
I'm waiting mine for august with the b&w...really can't wait! Can I ask you if the system support both wav and flac files?

Hi, I have a BMW ix60 which has the amazing Bowes & Wilkins Diamond music system. My question is what is the best method of input of music to the system to get the best output.
Currently I use a Samsung Note20 which has a Tidal subscription. I use the download option on tidal in the understanding that it is not dependent on the strength of the GSM signal. I believe I have two option in getting the music from my phone to the Diamond system , one is by Bluetooth and two by WiFi. I think WiFi is better than Bluetooth. I can't find any way to have a wired connection such as by USB wire connection. I love the Diamond system so much that I am trying to you establish the best method of getting music from my mobile phone to the Diamond system so I can enjoy it to its maximum

I hope this sound system that y'all gave BMW this time around it's better than the one that I have in my 7 series because the Bowers & Wilkins sound system I have in my 7 series is average at best compared to the Bang & Olufsen in my father's X5
bang olufsen is truly amazing man...I experience the 3d advanced of my friend audi A8...1920 watt of power. on like 26 speakers..it's visceral!!

i think you can't get the bowers wilkins anymore on the ix 40 and 50. It disappeared from german and italian website...this will make the less-than-1-year used cars very interesteing!
Is that real? I've been waiting for my 50 from s..korea since last september and i want it to be b&w so baaaaad.
@@leejooyong6355 I hope in Korea it's still available, maybe disapperared for 2022 model year and coming back for 2023...this chip crisis is really annoying!
You should ask to your bmw dealer to be sure

I ordered an ix about four months ago with the B & W. I was just told they can't provide it as they have transitioned to 2023 model production and won't be offering B & W in 2023 models. I'll be getting Harman Kardon which is still pretty awesome, but a bit disappointed.

what is wrong with tweeters position?
In my G05 the B&W isn't fantastic. It just looks great but sounds just normally.
they improved this one, it's more powerful and got more speaker (bass sound expecially)
