We spend 90,000 hours of our lives--roughly 1 out of every 3 days on Earth--at work. That's a HUGE amount of time to be spending on something you don't want to be doing. Today I'm sharing with you something personal: my biggest regret. I worked in corporate America at jobs I didn't like with people who didn't inspire me living other people's lives for far too long. And for about 15 years of my life, and it was a recipe for dissatisfaction.
The pivotal moment came when I had a conversation with an old boss of mine who told me he didn't like all the new things I was doing. He essentially said "you can't." If they say "you can't," you say "watch me." Nothing fuels my fire more than the haters, skeptics and naysayers. First they'll laugh and make fun of you, then they'll eventually wonder, "how did you do that?" Instead of letting their doubts crush, you can turn it into rocket fuel.
I'm going to say something that we're not supposed to say in society: I think money is cool, because money opens doors. It gives us leverage. But what if you don't have it? There's one great equalizer you can use to gain leverage today that costs $0, and that's ATTENTION. Attention is leverage. You don't need to be an oil magnate to change the world if you know how to get it, keep it and leverage it.

The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. $52k dividends received in 2022.
I agree! That's why it is advisable that you have to invest while you still have a regular job or earning a regular income, and do it constantly. You still need to have something that will keep you going even if you're investing. Good financial planning and money allocation is the key.

You are SPOT on!!!!! My bosses, two brothers, talked me into working for them. Then screwed me over huge. It’s pushed me to start my own business and make my own money. That money will be used to start more businesses. I’m waiting for the day of success where I can send them one text message that only reads “Thank You”. I don’t even care if they understand it. I will understand it. And that is my drive right now. I’m in infancy stages but it’s taking off quickly. Love your videos and feed of them for will power to keep going and not quit. I know that this probably won’t reach your radar, but I’d like to tell my story. I come from the gutter, and parents that died young..but abandoned myself and siblings. I’ve looked at so many other individuals sharing their strategies , experiences, and messages…but recently coming across your content..has me looking up in life…instead of trying to do something bad to myself. I’ve always had a drive to succeed, but always fell short out of fear that I’d lose family, friends, or even my loving self. A sandwich shop in the city of LaSalle Illinois just closed its doors because it couldn’t compete with the businesses near the highway that have all the traffic 😢. They made a very sad post on fb - how does one avoid that?
1. Marketing (more people need to know about your product or service (IG/TikTok) especially for a restaurant..people also love stories, I'm sure they had a great one!
2. Move to a better location (you need traffic , online or real traffic)
3. Have amazing food (people will go out of their way for amazing food and experiences)

People love fresh food, fast food sucks. I have a friend with a sandwich shop along a highway they make fresh subs and pizza. It’s packed with truckers everyday. I hate to say it but sounds like they had a management problem
Pivot happens for those entities that allocated funds for marketing. People buying coffee shop are normally buying a decent job. Nothing wrong with it. Corporate ideas don’t work for street businesses cuz they don’t carry name like Coke. And they don’t have to VC firms to subsidise losses year over year.
