Have you ever quit a well-paying job? I did to the tune of $500,000/year, and I did it by learning the lesson I talk about in today's video. Quitting a my job was one of the best decisions I've ever made because it helped me become who I am today. The difference between who you are and who you will become 10 to 20 years from now are the decisions you make TODAY. If you want to change, you can start by changing your surroundings.
One of the big reasons a lot of people are suffering from anxiety is because deep down they know they could be doing bigger and better things. If you're one of these people, then this video is for you.
When you work at a corporate 9-to-5, you are on borrowed time. You won't break the mold unless you scale up in pay, and down in company size. You need to have skin in the game. I'll explain how you can get it in this video.
Have you taken a big risk in your life? Did you quit a good job to take a chance on something uncertain? Tell me your story, comment below!

The conflict with people giving advice on the Internet is they make you think you can do it too, but they skip over their personal resume that allowed them to get the experience needed. You, Ms. Cody, were a proven investment banking executive. I think you undervalue this. 99% of people won't be able to buy businesses like you not because they lack motivation or even the intelligence. They simply do not have your resume.

Exactly why i enjoy my day to day market decisions being guided by a portfolio-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not outperform, been using a portfolio-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over $800k.

In addition to having purchased my second home and earning money on a monthly basis through passive income, I've also achieved three out of five goals. I just hope this inspires someone to realize that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet, you can start today no matter your age. Change your future by investing! I made a rather big decision by investing in the financial market.*

I do find these videos very entertaining -your obviously a very good orator and excellent sales person..but I always end up thinking -after watching these videos who are you talking too?? What percentage of people who are working today or who have ever worked make 500k a year across the globe?? the reality is …most people didn’t go to ASU and then get a job at Goldman, state street, vanguard etc..then use their capital to invest in boring businesses, start a podcast and talk about all your accomplishments while flying in a jet and getting out into a limo -the only thing missing is the money gun…like I said it’s very entertaining -but not relatable or practical for most people!! These videos are a modern sleek infomercial -great marketing 👏

@@anascancerjourney9922 so you admit you never worked in a corporate job, how do you imagine this video would be for you, codie is obviously talking about a certain type of career that just feels empty at one point and you need other side hussles . Maybe being a teacher made you already fulfilled and the salary you have is enough to not look any further but that's not the audience of this video, it's for people who want more and don't know where to go after getting into a golden cage of a good job with a good salary but which, at the end of the day, is not even secure or fulfilling. Nothing to do with salaries she is quoting, of course that's in asset management field, but the point is still the same, it's possible to take a message from a video that isn't completely 100% created for you and still take some value away

she is where she is in life because of these jobs and the knowledge that she built over years, she learned how to do things through the jobs and then did them on her own.. I am tired of these people trying to sell their sucess to everyone as a course! alot of things had to come together for her to be where she is and for anyone who will try to replicate it, it will not be easy! I found that the best thing to do is forge your own path that is related to your own deepest desires, you will have more success in that!
The reason she succeeded because she was immersed in this world, she had access to the knowledge and she made it happen because it was her heart's deep desire. so copying her or even learning from here will not necessarly lead to the same results, success comes from a person's desire of really wanting something + alot of other things to come together like oppurtinities, knowledge, money connections..etc. it is a journey that takes some time to lead to these results. I learned from a multi millionaire trading stocks for 2 years and i folllowed everything he said but at the end i didnt want it as badly as he did so it didnt work for me, it was very hard and I couldnt take it at the end.... but if i truly wanted it as much as he did i would probably have succeeded so I learned to never copy anyone and to follow my own path .. what my heart truly desires and not do it "just for the money". all these people succeeded because they truly wanted it what they wanted and they were in specific situations that led them to where they are and not because they copied others.

I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
This channel also inspired me to upload my recent videos to share my opinions about the main things that truly impacted the way I live. They're a couple of my most vulnerable videos that I've been hesitant to post for many months because of the fear of being misunderstood but I finally decided to overcome that fear so others can learn from my experience so we can all grow together. They're packed with valuable information about the relationship between a job and happiness.

Holly sh**, the end of this video feels like its made for me. I hate the idea of working for someone else so much i find just about any good reason i can to not do it. Remodel the house from top to bottom and much more, anything as long as its something we'd have to pay to have done. Ruff guess is 200k in value since i got a BA in Bus Economics.
I thought getting the degree would open up jobs i wanted to do, and yes i enjoy doing economics/statistics, but like Cody said, i dont want to be a cog.
Everyone around me keeps saying no, too much work, costs to much, etc. So i don't, but it feels like the only way to move forward in the way that i want and is actually worthwhile.

If I was making 500k a year I would quit. I make 60k a year and have only 5k in savings. I'm not a big spender, just a lot of people depend on me and I have one source of income.
