    Thank you for the video!
    I chose an instant camera for a very long time and settled on this model.
    1) It's beautiful, a lot of different designs
    2) Various lenses in a set
    3) Color flashes
    4) Many shooting modes and most importantly - the ability to turn off the flash.
    5) The photos are really incredible and high quality, in comparison with the Polaroid
    6) Adequate price for cartridges (Again, in comparison with Polaroid)
    P.S. If this camera could print a "square" photo, I would give it 11 out of 10))))

    Just got this same camera and I love it too. I had a very similar experience to you except I took my first shots of Christmas lights and I adored the effects. Really enjoyed the video, thank you Xxx

    I really appreciated your breakdown. I'm trying to decide between this and a fuji neon 90 mini...has your opinion about the two changed? Do you still find yourself using the mini 90 more?

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety +7

      +December Sounds happy to help! I'd say I definitely shoot more on the Mini 90 just as I'm way more comfortable with it as I've used it for longer...

    10:38 I would have done a double exposure for that picture, just to have it layered, see if the colors bleed into the very bright yellow shot, not sure if I'm explaining that right, but usually double exposures work well when you're trying to catch "more" of something. Just be careful when using the flash for it or you might over expose it.

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety +1

      +ErikVaughnDillinger ah I should've! I live close to it so may try that thanks :) I didn't use the flash on it, try to avoid using it on the instant cams if I can 🙈

    • @ErikVaughnDillinger
      @ErikVaughnDillinger Před 7 lety

      Rukaya Cesar Yeah, I don't really like built in flashes either. However, the flash on the automat is great for portraits and close ups, so keep that in mind ;0)

      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety

      I definitely will! Haven't really had the chance to shoot proper portraits yet so looking forward to that thank you! :)

    I'm not sure if you've figured this out or if someone has already said but the lens cap requires a battery to work, it states in the instructions which battery to use.

    hi, thanks for your presentation.
    Is it full plastic and/or fake leather?
    I would like to offer this one like yours (south beach) to my girl friend, but she doenst like true leather. I dont want to buy the wrong one

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety

      Hi, thanks for watching! It definitely feels like a full plastic body and faux leather sticker kind of things on top, I feel like they could easily peel off haha. It's a great little camera - would make a perfect gift!

    best than the fuji neo 90 ? Best regards

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety

      I think there are definitely pros and cons of both, I'm really enjoying the different lens attachments on the Lomo however right now I'm feeling the build quality on the Neo 90 is stronger, but that could just be me being delicate with the new camera. I feel the Lomo is sharper overall but there is a slight issue with the film rollers giving that slight light leak effect which I've not really got on the fuji so honestly, they're both great cameras haha!

    • @hoangdao0404
      @hoangdao0404 Před 7 lety +2

      I think Fuji give the better quality but Lomo'in got more lens so we can get more pics with diversity style ?

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety +1

      +Hoàng Đạo at the moment I'm feeling the lomo is sharper but I have only used landscape/infinity, I'm going to try and take some portraits with it soon to test that out. If I share photos from this camera they'll likely be on my Instagram! ⤵️

      Rukaya Cesar i just follow u on insta. i really confuse because i want to buy a new instax camera. leica soft , lomo automat, fuji neo90, leica sofort . which one better ???

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety +1

      +Hoàng Đạo personally I'd say the Neo 90 right now as it's the one I've used the most and trust, plus it's a great one for beginners to get to grips with the cameras :)

    Nice video! I'm just now learning about these instant cameras and was looking at the Automat in particular, so your video was definitely helpful. The South Beach variant looks so nice! Would you say there's learning curve if you're new to these cameras, or is it easy to get started out of box?

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety +1

      Hey! Thanks so much for watching + commenting :) I'd say yes, you can use them straight out of the box, but definitely have a little peek at the manual/diagram of what each button does first mainly just so you don't waste loads of film initially and get disheartened. The Lomo instant cams are perhaps a little more minimalist in their design of 'instructions' on the camera itself compared to say the Instant Mini cameras (there's an unboxing vid of one of those if you wanna see a different range of instant cam to compare) but once you know what the little icons are you're gold. From there it's just general photographic technique I guess! But overall yes, they're pretty straightforward cameras haha!

    Thank you

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety

      Hi, thanks for watching I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've not actually used the previous Lomo Instant camera but from the looks of things this one is way more compact, and also fully automatic if you want it to be. Also unlimited multiple exposures (not that you'd want to do too many ha!), a tripod mount, a lens cap with infrared remote, that's what I can see so far from comparing their specs on the site! :)

    • @lucacolaci106
      @lucacolaci106 Před 7 lety

      Thank you, so i think it's better this one i can see only more things compared to the other... i'm not a photographer and i'm not so practice with the specs of the camera :)

    Hey! How is the battery life on this?

    • @RukayaCesar
      @RukayaCesar  Před 7 lety

      Hi thanks for watching! The camera uses CR2 batteries and I'm not sure really how long they'll last but I started using it in December and it's still working fine now - not sure if Lomo have predicted how long the batteries will last but I'd presume quite a while? Sorry that's not a fantastic answer!
