I'm still happy with the V&H ShortShots on my '09 Low Rider, but I haven't fully Stage 1'd the thing yet, so the only thing I'm missing from your vid is DECEL POP hahah. People think a turf-war is flaring up when I roll off the throttle. I plan to get air & tune by next year. Then I start saving up for bars & grips. Little by little it's getting to be a great bike! It may be vintage by the time I finish, but it's good to have a little delayed gratification in life. (not to mention it feels great to live debt free!!!)
Just got the bassani road rage ripper on my 22 street bob, sounds amazing!!! Absolutely love the sound.
The 117 with the 2BR system sounded epic. Actually, all the aftermarket pipes sounded awesome.
Basani sounds awesome... deep throaty is at best...!!!

I just bought a 2019 Sport Glide from my good friends at Ocean State Harley-Davidson in Exeter Rhode Island and that choice had a lot to do with your vids thanks so much again!
To me the best was the stage 4 m8 and the low rider S with nice paint. Power!
Thanks, really useful as I intend to get a Lowrider and put in a stage 3. For me it's between the Bassani and the Cobra depending on which comes in black. Although I like the looks of the Bassani Black sweeper and from what I hear on Blockead's vlogs they sound great too.
It is best to hear the engines when they are in running temperature, when cold it is usually louder and less deep.
The stock 103 sounds good , go figure

Camera and phone mics don't do these sounds any justice. I did the stage 3 on my 2018 fat boy and had screaming eagle slipons installed. Apparently they made a 'second phase' of these slip ons and I am extremely happy with the sound.
Those two into ones sound angry Matt. That sound never gets old dude, wish I would have gone there instead of the shorty duals.

Like the looks and sound of the Cobra. Have Vance and Hines slash cut on my 2018 Heritage and around town I'd rather listen to my exhaust note over music. Always wondered if company claims of 10 horsepower increases hold any water?

Dang. I like the twin cam 103 stock best. The last one. I'm amazed. Butt ugly but best sound. To me. Who would have thought. I ride a stroker heritage with thunderheader. I love it. A little loud but good sound. Then I hear this. I'm trying to scrape together the funds for a new lowrider. Maybe I should look for one of these. I liked the FX line anyway. Hmmmm. Thank you!
D&D I think is best, known for their power making and sound too best of both worlds.. waiting for them to drop to bob car for the 18 up touring models. Seen on their insta page they are testing it. So I’m excited
I loved them all except the stock HD’s. First thing ya gotta do is get new pipes on any stock Harley. They simply suck and I can’t believe they haven’t developed a BAD ASS in house HD pipe by now. The first one, the cobra 2-1, savage sound. Wasn’t expecting that. Two Brothers on the 4th bike was insane. I’d get that one.

Hi 👋, I had a 1999 DEUCE, With a 1550 Screamin eagle upgrade get, the full works. And I purchased a 2-1 D D exhaust system I think it was called BOOM CAN , it was a megaphone design, and it sounded awesome! I had to sell it in 2019 do to my ex female partner, scamming me for tens of thousands of pounds, I had done well over 55,000 miles on it, I live in the UK at the time, and from 1995 I had 1200s then 1340 FXR , THEN MY DEUCE, from new, From BLACK BEAR HD NEWMARKET UK , I now retired living in France, I hope to get another DEUCE SOON, Ride Safe guys and girls, PHIL FROM THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOULIN FRANCE.

Hi Matt I have a 2018 Softail Deluxe and I've been looking at the Bassani (staggered) full exhaust set up. My friend said I should look at the Cobra neighbor haters. I'm looking for a unique deep sound with some authority. No necessary just all out loud. I'm also looking to put on the Screaming Eagle breather and of course the tuner. What do you think?
I have a 2019 Deluxe and just threw on Tab Performance with Zombie Baffles. Best decision I ever made compared to Bassani.
TBR is the way to go. That's what I running and its wheel burner

Got a Vance and Hines cannon on my Road Glide stage 1. Something about VH. Great vid and always the best close up shots on the net. Other give you 1 to 2 second blurbs of the hardware..
Thanks for doing this outdoors. So many times people film them running in the shop or garage and thats not an accurate sound.

Just got the wife back on a ninja 400. She's never been happier. 580 lb 883 vs 362lbs, she's in love with riding again. 3 years 400 miles on her HD. Her old ninja had 20,000 miles on it in 3 years. Hd will sit now and collect dust. I must say im happy too, chicks on harleys just do not have the same look. We tried hd, not our thing nice vids though.
2 Brothers for the win. Had to put my headphones on for this one. Lol. I almost bought them when I got my M8, but opted for the bam sticks from TAB performance instead. 2 Bros was deeper sounding, but these TABS sound angry when you get on it.
I think once I take out . . Umm eerrr I mean, once the Cats mysteriously fall off my bike, it will sound much better

Didn’t seem like he revved the thunderheader like the others. That and the stock were my favorite. But I ride a TC RGS and don’t want that much noise on a long ride
Couldn't stand the stock pipes on my 18 Low Rider so I put some RC slip ons on. Much better but these sound really nice.
Opened up the air and put on the FP3 and it's perfect.
Still thinking about a full exhaust system tho.

On Andrew's bike, the air cleaner shakes alot. Is that a common effort of that cleaner? I'm guessing it wouldn't shake as bad on the M8 but just curious..

I have a 17 dyna low rider with high output 103 does that air cleaner technically qualify as better than stock air cleaner? Notice you only put pipes on it? Some of the others have air cleaners in them?

I doubt any of those aftermarket exhaust systems would pass California sound & emission laws. Stock exhaust sounds surprisingly good. Clearly Harley engineers worked hard on that.
Most of the stock systems - and I just got done with Demo where I rode several of 2019 models, sound "muzzled"...

Would the CA laws have any effect on these pipes? I've been hearing conflicting things on different sources for the DB laws on motorcycle pipes.

I don't see how. you can tell a lot of the sound is distorted due to how loud most of these pipes are.
On a 114 will changing cams change the sound vs just adding an exhaust system?

2019 low rider stock exhaust sounds so good. All the others are just a pain for the ears.

Would of like to hear these compared to the screaming eagles. Which is what I’m leaning towards on a new sport glide. Not too loud but nice. Two bros sounds like an old dump truck. Raspy.
I'll never understand why people don't get to leave the mic where your ear is... I mean... do you put your freaking ear by the end of the exhaust?!? Why not go all the way and put the mic in the damn pipe?!? Video after video it's same same... hundreds of different people doing the same thing... some mics are good enough to deal, but not most. And this vid is a PERFECT example... sometimes he stands up bringing the mic up to ear level and they haven't shut the bike off yet and for a sec or two it sounds MUCH better.

I agree with other below comments, the stock 103 sounded the best out of the bunch. Although my stock 1993 Dyna Lowrider with staggered duels sounds and looks better then any of them hands down, At least to me.
Maybe don't hold the camera 1 foot from the pipe so we can hear more than just cackling?

Try recording sound with the iphone microphone. Much better response on the lower frequencies
Also helps to not stick the mic inside the exhaust for a clean sound but you probably figured that out allready
Damn. The tbr sounds so nice and looks so nice with the bike. The guys that like the stock exhaust should buy a Honda. Harley’s are supposed to sound loud and mean

I think Vance and Hiens makes "quiet baffles" for a lot of their pipes. I can't say I've heard any of them in person tho.

I believe it's a harley sportster bikini fairing. Fitted to a low rider using bung king brackets.
