Oil dip stick right behind the alternator on the Dodge. Love that Dodge.
I was hoping he would see it lmao
I seen it too
Yeah I seen it too lol it's an old school dipstick no color lol
If the oil dipstick was a snake it would have bit Randy at 24:00 when he was asking if anyone knew where it was!
Damn, you beat me to it🤣
I think the oil dipstick was just behind the alternator
The dipstick on that truck was right behind the alternator
The oil dipstick is behind the alternator, right in front of the valve cover.
I know you're in a hurry but that truck really seems like a nice truck needs a few more minutes you can have it running good job I enjoy your work
Randy, Those antennas are for a CB Radio. Good for communicating road conditions and etc.
That Dodge could have some potential if you could figure out what is going on. It looks like a solid truck but the transmission dipstick being gone is worrying. Great video as always Randy.👍👍
I agree. Get it Randy! It's not easy to find one in fairly good shape. Jump on it before it's gone
Hey Randy you should try to get that awesome Dodge D150 Royal it's worth putting back together. It looks like its in good shape minus a few cosmetic things I mention to get the dodge pickup because of it not having a seized up motor but rather a starter issue like you said in the vid. Either way its worth it tbh imo.
I stumbled across this channel when you were working on that old blue and white Ford F-150, and I’ve been watching ever since. My favorite part was your old trucks and cars that you’d work on, and I’d love to see another old truck
Thanks for the two Coparts a day! Love it thanks Randy
The Ram is a diamond in the rough! Could probably get it running with very little work. Grab it and give him some love!
That 2-tone Dodge truck looked really nice, esp considering the age...
The Volvo sunroof wasn’t open. It popped up when you slid the shade back at 7:44 :)
Good catch.
Hopefully you'll get this Dodge pickup truck running soon randy
Good to see again buddy good luck with the cars
⭐Appreciate the walk around Randy & the fence you had installed at the new pad looks fantastic 👌 definitely pricey though 🌲happy holidays everyone 🔥🚘👍
I'm impressed with the condition of the chassis and interior on that D150. Even if it needs an engine and a trans, it could be restored as a classic. You don't see them on the road much any more.
I would love to see another classic truck come back to the channel I really hope you get this one
That volvo is nice I've always liked the brand
I like your video and I hope you have a merry Christmas Randy .
Sounds like a starter issue I'd take a chance on this one
d150 can be a lot of fun. If you buy it i will watch the series with great interest. Good luck !
Good video Randy I like the old Dodge Pickup I graduated High school in 85 CB antennas on the mirrors
I see that nice Grand Marquis behind the Mercedes.
Good walk around Randy, that Volvo is a real head scratcher, I can’t knock the old Mercedes either, I had an 05 S500 myself and I really miss that car! If that old D150 had been gray, it would have been identical to my dad’s old Dodge truck. It was an awesome truck!! Now, I may have missed it, but have you looked at that white Lincoln Town car beside the truck that your tools were sitting on?
9:52 “you shouldn’t be revving a vehicle that high”
Also Randy: Revs up GT/CS Mustang
Randy the copart man photographer: oy mate look at that it’s a wild copart man in his natural habitat on a copart car
Hi Randy now you have two choices the Escalade and the Volvo both of them make great car to Jessica you always make a good content good luck and congrats for the new home
Randy, the oil dipstick for the dodge truck is on the passenger side at the front of the valve cover behind the alternator. :)
I like the Dodge ram I got a 1990 ram as my daily!!
The oil dipstick was on the left side at the front of the valve cover, has a large ring handle.
Dodge could have been someone project car that was never finished. I know someone who passed away that was working on one and the wife sold it so this could have been the same backstory. To me it might be an easy fix or even better do an engine swap since the truck as a whole looks in really good condition.
The oil dipstick is behind the alternator, 1st gen Dodge Ram in good shape is something to consider.
Hey randy...On the Volvo the sunroof wasnt open. Look at the footage and when you open the shade you see the roof open up.
If I'm not mistaking, the dip stick for the oil is between the passenger side valve cover and the alternator. It looks to be silver. I guess that's before the time where all manufacturers turned them yellow. 🤷🏻♂️
And the positive cable ground you'll have to push down and twist real hard to get a good connection my dad's 78 Chevy does the same thing the cables ain't tight enough on the battery to get a good enough connection even though it has enough voltage
Ooo that dove looks good makes me want it😀😀😀😀😀 KEEP IT UP Randy love it !!!
That old Dodge truck looks fire in that colour scheme.
That’s a nice old Ram. It’d be a good project to see on the channel.
One of my favorite Ram trucks, I have owned two of them a 1984 and 1985 one with the straight six and one with the 318 V8. Great trucks, The slant 6 was bulletproof
Love the ram , would be good for the channel Randy, enjoying your videos
Oil dipstick tube is behind the alternator
Gota love the short wave antennas on the d150
You were just in too much of a hurry to see the oil ip stk Ex geners expecting it to be yellow ! LOL Randy.
Real nice truck!!!
The oil dipstick is by the alternator and if it don't have a good ground it will not crank
Hell yeah brother let's go
I did a 900 mile roadtrip in a new s60, it was a great driver and super comfortable.
Hey Randy its my experience that the key fobs for at least the newer cars wont work when the car is running.
Yo randy the reason why it dont start is cuz it need a new ground on the engine and I bet it will fier right up put a the positive on the batter from jump pack and ground it right to the engine
The sunroof on that Volvo opened when you opened the sunshade. It was closed prior to that.
The oil dipstick on that old Dodge was on the passenger side by the valve cover in the front
Hello Randy. The Volvo is a nice car. The rest of the cars and trucks are awesome
Lmao.. opens sunroof "oh no!! Sunroof has been open this entire time!"
Would love to see the 1985 Dodge D150 Royal get worked on in you're HQ. Nice truck. God content.
Behind the alternator is the oil dipstick location!!! 👍
that 1985 dodge d150 is in good shape randy u should go for it id like to see u bring it back to life u dont see to many of those trucks on the road
those antennas are for the C B radio breaker breaker good buddy
I had a 85... The neutral safety switch was funny in it. Kept a screw driver in truck to by pass it when it acted up.
Go for the D150 randy!
Sweet project dodge truck right there!
On that dodge pickup the dip stick is in the front behind the ac compressor
The dodge truck is a good truck would love to see it saved and put back on the road again
You should get the truck and do a build
It is a really cool truck and it still has the ram hood ordermint.
the oil dipstick is hiding in plain sight right behind the alternator 😂😂
I'm of the belief that when a suspension takes a hit like that Volvo did it will never drive quite the same again, whether that's chewing up tires or crab walking etc.
When I think of stuff like that I typically anticipate premature failure of everything within the area of impact starting with the weakest link of the suspension system whichever part that may be
The body is good also the interior. I think if it goes cheap enough take a shot it's almost a classic
Good Evening My Good Little Bro Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Auction Rebuilds
That's a pretty nice looking truck ther3s a rod that run down the colum that might not be engaging the full power to the starter.
I'd get the Dodge , seems like a solid truck and they are going up in value all the time and it's a good trim level probably quite rare in such good condition .
that old dodge is a good project
co phazed for cb had some black ones on my 79 chevy van,,,work great
I have the exact same truck with the reverse colors, the top color is the gold (ish) and the middle is fawn, the 2bbl on that one tells me it is a 318, should be a M code on V I N .
that ram is beautiful
I really like the Dodge Ram
I brevet I seen the oil dipstick there behind the alternator
Looking at the motor left side front of the motor near alternator
Nice truck
The oil dip stick is behind the Alternator
Get the truck .. would love to see it back on the road
This channel is going from Auto Auction Refills to Auto Auction Resells.
Yea I see the dip stick, behind the alternator
you smart than that Randy!!! if the sunroof of the Volvo open should be the sun shade be wet or something that affected by the water!!!??
but you open the sunroof. you push the button up that make the roof tilt up. am sure about this. and the sun shade open a little bet because that.
and most cars the remote ( or what you call it clicker ) not work inside the car and most of it not working when the car on.
Is that not the dip Stick behind the alternator?
Lower steering arm got bend in it randy and back wheel forward say lower control arm or bent suspension part
That 1985 Dodge D15O sounds like my truck with the start, and I say that because I had my truck cranked up and for some reason it shut off and start to crank again but it wouldn't stop so we had to a piece of the meal connected to the battery to shut it off, so does anyone have any ideas or something that can help me out, because this truck I have is my first truck and it's a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0L.
That dodge is the beez knees
Go for the Dodge.
Cool old Dodge Truck for sure. 👍😎🇨🇦
Got the oil dipstick in my shed if you want to borrow it just let me know
Take a chance on ram. Even a used motor swap and parts 500 bucks. Plus the upscale package. Get at least 4k for it flipped
The Ram would make great content
I saw the oil dipstick by the alternator. Strange place for it.
The oil dipstick is right behind the alternator you'll see it in your video
The Dodge truck I think has got potential all dipstick like everybody saying is behind the alternator transmission dipstick mission is concerning I would fit apart around with the connection the battery or I'd get down there and check the solenoid on the starter to see how the wire is I bet you could get that old Dodge running not a big fan of the color but I would definitely take it
Love the Dodge truck
oil dipstick behind the alternator on the 318 passenger side
Oil dip stick is behind the alternator
I think that truck would make great content. You could work with Austin and both could get content and learn about those trucks. I would love to own that truck up here in Connecticut I'd put a plow rig on it and use it as a daily driver. It looks easy to work on ( replace engine or trans ) compared to todays trucks . Up here we don't have to pass emissions on something that old.
