Whilst I deplore his attack on Bobby I can totally understand it. I have a bit of sympathy for Max as he was jailed for a crime (murder) he didn't do and Jane and Ian covered up who the real suspect was (Bobby) for ages with Phil playing a role in sending Max down, but apart from that he's just a vile disgraceful man tbh

Ben came in to Max threatening Bobby, wonder who would've won a fight if Max hadn't left and got in Ben's face?
I think it would go either way, but Harry Reid probably would've had Max in my opinion.
@@H.K.5 Max isn't a hardman, he's a wimp to anyone who fights back except for Ian. Ben landed a punch on Luke Browning that staggered him (and imo if he wasn't caught off guard would've put up a much better fight), practically beat Jay senseless, Jay fought back with a pathetic punch and then an admittedly powerful punch, but if Ben had kept on Jay would've been in hospital for damn sure. He also absolutely manhandled Phil (when he was sick), beat up that neighbor of Paul's killers. Beat up Lola's ex Ewan. Hell when Ben was angry Luke couldn't make him so much as budge away from Wilmott-Brown, and Jack had trouble keeping him away from Abi.
The only reason Ben kept letting people beat him up is because he was on probation, he couldn't get in trouble. Meanwhile Max is just as much a punching bag as Ben. At least Ben's had the courage to fight back against his dad and others, whereas Max would've backed down those times.
Max has trouble with IAN. IAN BEALE of all people and you think Ben can't take him, thats just funny. Max has never done well in a serious one-on-one fight, I'm not talking when he just punches the guy, I'm talking a fight, except for Ian Beale of course, he did well against Adam White, then came back and had to get Jack to save him. Then we have the grand motherload, Max crapping his pants when Alfie threw him, being scared of Phil all the time. Ben's had a better track record especially lately. He's had actual real fights, whereas Max just has... scraps.

@@Darskul Ben is nowhere near as hard as Max. Ben got floored by Callum and lost to Jay when they fought in the house. He didn't beat Jay senseless, he hit Jay with a cheapshot and then Jay hit him back, which sent Ben flying.
And he got battered by Charlie Cotton who would get destroyed by Max. And yeah, he did have trouble with Ian. But even though Ian is an absolute wimp, he can fight and he's a way better fighter than Ben.
Look at how well Ian did against Andy Hunter. Do you really think Ben stands a chance against Andy? He also manhandled Billy who would batter Ben senseless. Max has only lost to top hardmen like Phil, Sean, Jack, Mick, Kush and Martin. Alfie doesn't count because Max let Alfie grab him and throw him around.
Ben on the other hand has been beaten by Callum, Jay and Charlie, and Keanu and Lee easily beat him. Keanu and Lee wouldn't be able to do that to Max.
@@H.K.5 Ben had him pinned against the wall, it wasn't a cheapshot, it was an elbow he didn't see coming, Jay wasn't used to this Ben though so I guess you could make that excuse. Jay was trying to get Ben off him but Ben kept beating on him.
Also you forget Ben pulled a body shot on Luke Browning, and Luke had trouble holding him back from hitting Wilmott-Brown.
Ian can't fight, Ian's hit some people over the years but he's been mandhandled by everyone on the square and then some, he got floored badly Charlie Slater when he was young. A younger and wimpier Martin Fowler floored him pretty easily. Ian did dodge a punch from Andy Hunter but everybody, including Ian was super surprised he was able to do so.
You say Ben's lost all these fights, yet he was able to pin Phil down with one arm after Paul died and almost battered him, Ben beat up Simon Atmore's neighbor, Lola's ex Ewan off-screen, and today Jonno Highway pretty badly, someone who had Callum pinned up. Ben didn't fight back against Charlie since he was on probation. Notice how ALL his adult fights take place after he's off probation.
Max and Jack were trying to convince him but they were both pretty pissed, Alfie would batter Max in my opinion, it would barely be a fight. Thats just my opinion though.
Keanu floored him yes, but Ben was ready to continue the fight, and the punch he threw was kinda lousy in my opinion.
If he was throwing the type of punches he did against Jonno they would've landed, Ben reacted super fast to that, it actually reminded me of that scene with Max and Sean.
I'm not so sure Charlie would lose to Max, he shoved Jack back pretty damn hard, I can't imagine Max doing the same.
Btw the reason his showing against Jay is so impressive is because Jay at this point had dodged several of Phil's punches effortlessly, when he was sick and when he wasn't, so no excuse. Also punched Dexter and Dexter did nothing. The same Dexter who was able to fight Peter Beale and also punched his dad Sam who manhandled that dude Peter punched.
I struggle to find out why you think Billy would beat Ben when Ben's always done way better against Phil, they both fought a sick Phil, but the version Ben fought wasn't as sick, and Phil easily handled Billy but had slight and also hard trouble with Ben multiple times.
Biggest evidence of Ben beating Max... Max got nearly floored by a body shot from a teenage Jay wearing a boxing glove. Fair enough if he was bare-fisted, but he was WEARING A BOXING GLOVE.
