Now THAT was a real no baloney review.
Question: if I were to get the 400 watt flexible panels, put them on rails similar to yours on the roof of the trailer (to give that needed airspace under them), do you think they would function as well as the larger rigid panels you have on Lenny? Thinking of also a wind deflector in front to sort of protect them, but mostly thinking of the HUGE weight saving difference between the rigid and the flexible panels, which would be great. Also wondering about wind deflectors along the sides, possibly with holes drilled in to keep airflow as one of your members commented. (Keeping in mind where I am currently and there were gusts of 60 mph yesterday. Wouldn't want wind to rip them right off.) You are making me think of other possibilities here, thank you.

It's hard to say, and I wish I had a comparable 200W rigid panel to test with side by side. I would like to think so, though the aluminum channel likely helps dissipate some of the heat if I had to guess. Personally, for the weight savings on a trailer I think that the potentially lower wattage is worth a trade-off, especially considering you may gain a little more efficiency with the curvature of the roof or rails! you also have wind directly on the bottom of the cells rather than the aluminum channel around the solar panel potentially preventing the air from directly contacting the cells. I think that would be an awesome comparison though! I thought that we would use wind deflectors but since traveling on the freeway and not noticing any sound, watching the panels like a hawk, and checking everything afterwards, I don't know that we will need it ourselves, though with flexible panels it might serve you a slight bit better! if only to prevent them from flopping around. There are so many options!!

Maybe they look at getting that personal information as part of why they can charge less for their product???

I would just buy real lithium batteries. Not knocking those portable batteries BUT… you have a decent solar array it only make sense to pair it with a decent battery bank.
With the solar array that you have no one would believe it’s for portable batteries.
