A great song to celebrate Wall-E being in the Criterion collection.
M-hm! ^u^
1 thing I like about WALL-E that not enough people bring up is that if you isolate the parts with just WALL-E the story works, but if you isolate the parts with just the Captain the story also still works. It's 1 of the few Disney films that actually does a subplot that is just as interesting as the main plot.
Agree the captain is a underrated character
The Captain deserves the medal!
True my friend! =D
What I like most about Wall-e is how the scene is presented in the movie and the movie itself with this song in the background being the one we listen to.
And how it fits so well when we refer to space and to us and our beloved planet, the earth.
the phrase ''way out there from this hick town barnaby'' referring to earth and how being the only inhabited planet in our system is like a crazy town, and that there is a future and a more peaceful place out there with the phrase ''there's a slick town barnaby.
if you think about it that way it is a pretty brilliant analogy.
I like how the music fits so well in each scenes. It has that beautiful tone to it, editing made it great. All the meanings in the lyrics are put into the actual movie, damn well of a tribute video. So underrated too.
It's amazing that Hello Dolly, given that it's really quite mediocre, produced such bops in this song and It Only Takes a Moment. Pixar knew what they were doing when they sampled those songs.
How is it mediocre
@@menijna well, for starters it's considered the film that killed the big musical movie. I have a lot of affection for it but definitely I also think it was quite tired when it came out and maybe moreso now.
@@menijna I just watched the Hello Dolly film for the first time, and holy smokes does the second act drag. Cut 90% of the restaurant scene and you'd have a fine classic movie.
@@cgonz8agreed, I saw the events in the restaurant a slog to get through
I like hello dolly but it would definitely be way better if they cut a lot of the restaurant waiters dance scenes
Honestly,
Along with Cars 1, 2 & 3, Finding Nemo/Dory and The incredibles 1 & 2,
WALL•E is one of my favorite Pixar movies, it's beautiful❤
The song that overrides a robot's programming in the snap of the fingers
I love the movie Hello Dolly :D I only saw Wall-E once in the theater with my family. I forgot he loved old movies until he appeared in DLV. I completely flipped when they had a whole Dolly Levi outfit. Barbra Streisand is my favorite :) I had a VHS of it, now I have it on both Blu Ray and on Disney + (I was REALLY shocked when I saw Hello Dolly in their selection. I remember crying happy tears! OMG I'm such a nerd!!) So glad one of my favorite movies is getting some love!
This movie is wonderful, a good message that Disney wanted to convey in this movie
2:03 i see the music sync here, nicely done.
WALL-E is one of the greatest movies ever. And let’s not forget the great Michael Crawford singing “putting on your Sunday clothes” he would become famous as the first person to sing the role of the Phantom in the “Phantom of the Opera”
Wall-E is my favorite P.I.X.A.R. film of all time.
Still waiting for this dvd from eBay it's held up in the post my kid will surely love it
Wall-E loves this song.
"yes you do"
I really love this song. And everytime I play it, I noticed the singer sounds a lot like N So now, everytime I hear N singing just like in the animated music video of this song 😅.
Beautiful.
Jesus Christ, you're making me fucking dance.
This is surprisingly awesome!
Everytime I see Wall-E and Eve hold hands( especially in the ending) they make me cry and feel happy and depressed knowing I won't be able to hold hands with the girl that I like. It's so happy and depressing at the same time for me when I think about it...
CaptainJZH shouldve pinned this comment
i think a girl is gonna like you someday
you just need patience
@@befuhs we both know thats not true
@@Eracm i was trying to rebuild this dude's confidence
No worries, I thought it about myself at one point too. Just be patient my friend, it might be closer around the corner than you think!

Dimes Are Times!
First of all, don't let my username and avatar fool you. I have MANY layers to me when it comes to music. Now to get to my comment... I actually totally forgot that this song was in Wall-E, considering I saw the movie once when it was in theaters. It never registered in my brain when I saw it. I only just realized it now while playing Disney Dreamlight Valley on my Switch. I was in my house screwing around with the old radio. One of the songs that came on was Put on Your Sunday Clothes. I was like 'Woah what?!' Then like 2 minutes later it hit me that that song WAS in Wall-E! I got so excited! I love Hello Dolly and have been a huge Barbra Streisand fan since I was only 12. That's 25 almost 26 years of my young life I've been a huge fan of hers. (Even got to see her in concert twice! 😊 ) I've always loved music and singing. My voice is practically shot from chorus rehearsal last night (I sing 1st soprano). The song was playing in the game, so of course it gets stuck in my head and practically belt it out! I'll definitely have to watch Wall-E again. Sorry this was so long. I'm practically pouring my heart out here. What a beautiful tribute video you made. Very well done! Even loved how you used the actual song! 😍😍😍
0:45 is that a reference to eve 😳
5:18 bNlllllllll! 🙃
I grew up watching WALL-E lol.
C A R T O O N C A T

JOE BART
😊
hey! Can I use your video to make lyrics? I will give the respective credits :)
Sure thing!
When's a sequel
Has anyone found the bobby bryan cover yet?
The guy that sings this sounds like Weird Al, Billie Armstrong, and Kermit the Frog put together.
That’s the original phantom of the opera. Michael Crawford.
@ Nathan Bishop If you wanna hear Michael Crawford, the original Phantom of the Opera in his prime, check out a duet he and Barbra Streisand did together 'Music of the Night' which is a song in Phantom of the Opera. It'll blow your mind how different he sounds compared to when he sang this. (awesome avatar btw! Love me some Metallica!)
