      Your video is giving out a bad message. 👎 you cannot encourage young kids to drop out of school to become a tiktoker, you're also promoting rebellion against parents. You are supposed to encourage education so that even though they might not want to be a doctor or engineer, they could still pursue careers like dancing and music that is related to tiktok and for your info, you can study all of that in UNIVERSITY! I might as well report your video! 🤷‍♀️

    While I understand the moral of the video, the situation is extremely unrealistic. The chances of being paid 100k for tiktok is SO fricken small, and while the dad conveyed his message in the wrong ways, he was stil right in the idea that you shouldn't drop out of school and that you should need a stable job to live.

      I was thinking the same thing. There is very little chance of living well off of wages McDonald’s pays: buying and paying for a cellphone, paying rent and having enough time to make TikTok videos? Plus, how can she manage her finances as a high school dropout without having to depend upon someone who knows more about them than she does? She could be robbed blind.

    Actually tik tok isn’t a good career, hear me out. Tik tok only pays 15 dollars each 500,000 views. (If you’re lucky enough.) and only 40-50 dollars each million. (If you’re LITERALLY a angel from god.) to be financially stable she would need 3 million views each video and would have to post every day with no break. She’d be better off getting a CZcams career. 2,000-4,000 each million. Yes her dad is wrong for what he has said, but tik tok shouldn’t be reliable enough for a career. I'm not a parent, but you don't criticize your kid like this, you don't yell at your kid in belief that you screaming at them is going to help them get it. You don't try and live through their achievements. You give them a spiral notebook, you teach them how to dream big dreams, how to set big goals, how to set organized plans of action, how to have self discipline, you help show them how they learn, but don't micromanage how they learn. If they're struggling in school, find out what's stopping them, and you help to correct it. School is very important, but screaming at your kid because they're failing and struggling to understand a subject isn't going to help them. It's going to discourage them and scare them. Kids need to write their goals down everyday in a spiral notebook.

    3. Tiktok isn't a career, yes, but it can be a side hustle. A lot of Tiktok stars are using the platform to promote their businesses.
    4. To those comments that she should finish school and get a job, not everyone finishes school and gets a good job in real life. Like, not everyone is lucky and fortunate. Consider that education nowadays are more focusing on academics that the well-being of the students. Consider the toxic management nowadays with mean bosses and nosy colleagues. Some people even consider to have their own businesses and they're booming!

    It was really sad when Georgina's dad disowned her. It wasn't right at all for him to disown his daughter for doing something she was so passionate about. Besides, you should never kick your kids out of the house no matter what they do even if they do something they are so passionate about because if you kick your kids out of your house, you're telling them that they can die and they're just kids.

      No, his kid wasn’t even trying. Tik Tok isn’t a job. And at least a side job would be safe but no, everything suggests to just go for what you want and not consider that maybe your passion won’t get you anywhere either because it’s not actually marketable or you’re not actually good at it.

      @@vincenthawthorne9360 as much as I agree that she wasn't trying and that her "passion" is completely useless and unrealistic I also agree with the original comment in the terms of kicking her out and disowning her, it's immoral and just telling her she can go die and he wouldn't care

    • @andrewcolinwilson1
      @andrewcolinwilson1 Před rokem +3

      @Ibrahim Anser Well, you don't always have to support the choices the people in your family make. But please don't quit on them or stop loving them for their choices. If your child is doing something you don't believe is right, be honest about how you feel but assure them that you still love them and will always be there for them no matter what. If my child did things I disapproved of and has disappointed me many times, I would never be like Georgina's dad and say, "You are dead to me." or "You are no longer my child." or "You can't ever come home." Instead, I would always say, "What you are doing is wrong and I am very disappointed in you right now. But I still love you. That will never change. I can't say what you're doing is right and I won't always be proud of you but no matter what you do, I will always love you and you don't ever have to be scared to come to me for help."

He needs to stop trying to push her to be what he wants her to be so he can be happy, and she needs to dream big dreams and set big goals; she should set several goals, not one or two, but seven or eight at least. She also needs somebody to show her how she learns, she needs somebody to believe in her, and she needs to live out her own life. She doesn't need TikTok.

    I honestly feel horrible for the daughter. Honestly after her dad kicked her out it really just shattered my heart. I think to myself man sometimes parents need to understand they should support their child's dreams. But sometimes it's not always easy. Nobody should be forced to do what they don't like. I mean after the dad apologized to his daughter why would she forgive him? I wouldn't if that was me. I'd would say where the hell were you when you kicked me out? You probably were celebrating afterwards. I don't need you in my life.
    I understand family is important but the biggest lesson is don't give up on your dreams fight for them. If no one supports that you don't need them in your life find people who will support it
