Impossible if she was a British actress they would have heard of her even a little bit. Almost all actors know each other if you're not a young debutant actor everybody knows you, and she was well established by the time she got the role so they might have known she was American
Yeah, I did notice how Hugh talks all the time and cuts up with the girls and Colin is the real man the whole time. He just remains silent, but I loved watching Colin. I wish he had talked more in his wonderful accent.

In other words, he is the antithesis of Grant. As is said in Pride and Prejudice..."He doesn't rattle on like other men". He speaks when there is something worth saying. Not much worth saying in this interview and he is ignored because he was not as well known then. That being said, where has Hugh Grant been for the last 10 years? Hmm? Hanging out with transvestite hookers? He epitomizes faux charm in a slimy package, just playing himself. What causes does Grant espouse? Has he received humanitarian awards? Firth has. Has he received Oscars or nominations? Firth has. What is his family life? Has he been loyal to the mothers (note plural) of his children? All mouth, no action. There is a difference between personality and pretence. Hugh is phony. Colin is real.

+Susie Q I think you are biased. Check Grant's interviews. He is very clever, very funny and witty in his interviews. You will enjoy them! Academically he was also great: Oxford graduated, accepted on a scholarship. He works very hard and he is honest with his flaws. In the past 5 years he was occupied with the @HackedOffHugh campaign - protecting the press intrusion (not in the lives of celebrities but of normal people that found themselves subject of the press).
