Forty-something and single again, she decides to focus on her job and surround herself with old friends and new. For once, Bridget has everything completely under control. Then her love life takes a turn and Bridget meets a dashing American named Jack (Dempsey), the suitor who is everything Mr. Darcy is not. Im soo happy with the comments about Renee. She was bullied by the media for aging as everyone does but she is a delight and a ray of sunshine.
Aydan R I think she is stunning! The weight was also a big issue in the media but I never thought Bridget was fat- she dressed appallingly in the first film but that was the character and humour! Renee has brought the character to life in an iconic way- nobody else could have done that!
WHY bullied,she is a very beautiful natural looking woman,,she has not had a pile of plastic surgery,I salute you!

This is my first time watching a Renée interview and I must say, she is quite charming and very likeable. Patrick Dempsey is a class act and I like how he spoke highly of Renée. I can't help but laugh every time he rubs his index and thumb together when he talks like he's a food critic deciphering the texture of the food he's eating. 😁

Yes she is adorable. I love to see both of them, Patrick and Renee together. They make a good match, they are so lovely together. Love to see them together in another movie. They have a very strong chemistry.
They both seem like nice, genuine people. I never had a crush on Patrick when he was younger but he gets more attractive as he gets older. Plus seeing him as a kind person helps.

I worked with a couple of women who, after seeing Renee Z in Jerry McGuire, thought Renee sucked as an actress and overall person. I never understood that...still don't. I love the transparent innocence that seeps from her every movement. Lol...I love her squinty brow look, as well; it always reminds me of the Jim Carrey line from "Me, Myself and Irene" when he brings up her 'sucking on a lemon smirk'...just LOVE her, bottomline.
Those women you "worked" with are just jealeous... women in the business are the worst. But not Renee, she is pure.

Great lengthy interview by Ricky who I'm unfamiliar with, but he's clearly a Bridget aficionado and asks questions outside those posed by vacuous morning show presenters (like Guthrie's which I saw before this). Renee was very tactful about the director of the second Bridget movie, who should never have been chosen over the director of the classic original. Bridget Jones' Baby is Sharon Maguire's baby, hallelujah.

Dempsey jumps in when he shouldn't. Several times the question was clearly for her and he started answering before she even had her mic up, or horned in on an answer before she was quite done. Guy's got some 'splainin' to do...he's cute and all, and says worthwhile things, and all, but he's a bit of a screen hog.
OMG she is so american in the way she speaks speaks and speaks with that awful voice without saying anything!
I am so disappointed with her new looks, and it is not because of the aging but the cosmetic surgeries she did to herself...she had the cutest face before and she was unique, now she just looks like just any other woman...i miss her. unfortunately she will never be back...sad !!!!
