Here’s how I would’ve rebooked 2010. Starting off at the fatal 4 way ppv I would’ve kept Cena as champion because the nexus kept feuding with him after he lost the title. Cena was the top guy and had nexus targeting him. Whoever else is champion will get overlooked with cena getting all tv time. And that’s exactly what happened. Sheamus 2nd title reign was overlooked with the Cena nexus storyline. So yeah, belt stays on Cena the whole time.
Secondly, Team WWE consists off WWE top stars. So obviously since Cena’s champ, that automatically scraps the Orton Sheamus match. Team WWE has there top 5 stars in Randy Orton, Edge, Y2J, Sheamus and WWE Champion John Cena in a first pin fall scores the victory for the team. Their opponents are Team Nexus which consists of Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Ryback, Justin Gabriel and Wendy’s. The other two Michael Tarver and black cena stay in the back. This is basically the same match Team WWF vs Team WCW back in invasion 2001. Truth and Morrison aren’t top stars so they’re not apart of the match. Bryan and Bret aren’t a part of the match.
Towards the end of the match. Two of the nexus members comes from the back to assist with their teammates now making the fight 7 on 5. As the crowd boos Bret Hart music hits and he comes out while bringing a returning Daniel Bryan to assist with Team WWE. After all the commotion and collision. The match finally ends by Sheamus turning on his team Brouge kicking Cena and practically giving Barrett the pin fall victory. Nexus celebrate.
While celebrating, a tempted miz comes out and tries to cash in but eats an RKO from a recovered Randy Orton. Orton is then attacked by ryback and the of nexus while sheamus runs away into the crowd. As team WWE comes back to too, a brawl erupts between the two teams. Miz semi recovers and runs away into the crowd. With Sheamus gone now it’s 7 against 6. Truth and Morrison comes and now make it 8 against 7 and they all beat the shit out the nexus causing them to retreat backstage. Team WWE celebrate in the ring even tho they lost. But crowd is sent home happy because all the babyfaces are standing tall.
After SummerSlam, wwe continue to feud with the nexus. In fact since wade barrett pinned Cena. He feels entitled to a championship match. He would battle Cena at NOC but win by DQ. Miz lurks around but knows he can’t cash in with all the nexus members around and also realizes if he becomes champion then they’ll come after him so he shamefully leaves and doesn’t attempt to cash in anymore. Cena and Barrett fight again at HIAC. This time Cena wins but quickly beaten after the match as the nexus break in the cell and tear him apart 7 on 1. Miz shows up in the crowd and stares at the nexus as the form a circle around Cena while staring back at the miz. Miz just walks away. HIAC goes off the air with Nexus standing tall even tho Barrett lost. As the cell raises up, Randy, Edge, Jericho, Bryan, Truth and Morrison come down and aide Cena against the Nexus which lead to carnage again. Vince McMahon being enraged by his business being outta control announces Survivor Series the next night on Raw.
Team WWE vs Team Nexus winner take all just like the did in 2001 survivor series with team WWF vs the alliance. If wwe wins, nexus is over and fired. If nexus wins, they take over the wwe like how NWO took over WCW and cena’s title is on the line so Barrett will be award the championship as well. As survivor series approaches wwe try to assemble their strongest warriors for this year’s 9 on 9 instead of the traditional 5 on 5. Team WWE consists of Cena, Orton, Edge, Y2J, Bryan, Truth, Morrison, Sheamus who turned babyface after being jumped by the nexus having to beg for forgiveness and had to earn their trust back to be on the team. The 9th and final member is 🥁 🥁🥁 Bret the hitman Hart. Lacing up his boots for the first time since his last survivor series appearance in the infamous 97 Montreal screw job. Team Nexus is Barrett, Otunga, Ryback, Gabriel, Wendy’s, Tarver, Young and the two new members of the nexus Michael McGillicuddy and Husky Harris.
These guys tear the house down at Survivor Series. Towards the end we are left with 2.
Wade Barrett and Bret Hart. Barrett laughably starts toying with Hart. Hart then slaps him. Infuriated Wade tried to clothesline Bret but Bret ducks and Wade knocks out the ref. Bret kicks Wade in the nuts. Goes for a pin but ref is knocked out. Bret gets up to wake the ref but behind bret is a recovered Wade Barrett who manhandles Bret, looks him in the eyes and delivers a devastating winds of chains. Even tho not really effective in real life which is why they allowed Bret to take the bump. This is the first real bump Bret has taken all night. Wade goes for a pin fall. The ref is slowly recovering and is counting a slow count for wade.

Kickout from Bret the hit man Hart.
Crowd was panicking. An angry Wade Barrett frustrated with the semi unconscious ref, throws him out the ring. Then leaves the ring himself goes to the timekeeper area to grab Cena’s title believing the title now belongs to him after eliminating Cena earlier pinning him. Wade takes the title inside the ring and is ready to hit Bret with it, eliminate him, become soul survivor, wwe champion and take over wwe. As Bret is struggling to stand Wade gets ready to hit him and Cena runs back out. Wade tries to swing on Cena instead but Cena ducks. Fully recovered Cena kick Wade in the gut and delivers an FU to him, trash talks him, then hops out the ring. Bret who fully recovers gets a nod from Cena and puts Wade in the sharpshooter. Wade is thriving in pain and agony feeling the pressure of the originator. A fresh ref runs to the ring. After another 30 seconds Wade feels his legs breaking and can’t take it anymore and taps out. Bret hart is the winner by submission and Soul Survivor. Nexus is fired and Cena is still champion. Cena Bret Hart celebrate in the ring together. The rest of team WWE come out and celebrate. Balloons and confetti fall down as Bret music plays through the arena. The rest of the babyface raw roster come down and celebrate as well. Survivor series closes out.
On raw the next night towards the end of the show, Cena is standing in the ring cutting a promo and praising Bret Hart. Outta nowhere the lights go dark. When they turn back on, the nexus are attacking cena. They lay Cena out before security come and chase them out the building. Cena after being beaten is struggling to his feet with doctors helping him. Then outta nowhere you hear AWWWESOOMMEEEE. Miz is running straight to the ring with Alex Riley and is cashing is. Miz successfully cashed in on Cena becoming wwe champion. So Cena lost his title after all. We close out the show with miz as the new champion.

Majority of the blame goes to Vince. The attitude era had several main eventers like rock, stone cold, dx that you can spread the superstardom around. PG era was solely focused on just Cena and it made for terrible tv.
I somewhat disagree the attitude the was solely based on Austin and Rock as the faces of the company. The just had more well promoted dance partners as for Cena, he had a less danse partners that were not so promoted.
And now this new era of crap whatever its called has just replaced ceno with nepo hire reigns. I started watching wwf in 1982 and quit during the Cena era. Only one guy in wrestling interests me at this point and I have no faith in wwe to push him.

Not even nwo had that type of success in 6 yrs from debut. They hold the torch and rightly so. Not even the bloodline can get over the shield much like how taker was. He is the greatest singles wrester of all time and the shield takes it home for factions. Nexus was a great concept cuz thats the same concept the shield had.. go figure the first time we see undertaker and see the shield making their debut at survivor series.
Business wise, blaming Cena is essentially letting Vince get off the hook. Cena was an employee there like everyone else, Vince had the idea and creative pushed it. He did what he was told and that was that. You can say he buried so many guys, but guess who had the idea first? Vince did.

I drove Cena for a year to & from the airport when he did Monday Night Raw. I was working for a limo company at the time, when i got my list of customers for the day the majority of the time I got Cena every week, none of the drivers liked driving Cena because he never tips, and took up more time than scheduled.He never once tipped. All the other wrestlers tipped well, Cena never tipped any of us. His plane would be scheduled to arrive at 12am, and sometimes would'nt arrive till 4am-5am. None of us liked getting Cena, i worked nights and usually got stuck driving him.

It would be silly to think anyone being a top guy not having enemies, feuds or whatever. I mean can't make or be friends with everyone. John Cena still seem to be a good guy regardless of these "feuds". It's somewhat silly to call it "feuds" when celebrities just experience and live a normal life like things like this happens in most people's lives more or less. The difference is normal people don't have a spotlight on them and no media to blow up every little mishap.

Batistas case was far from the truth. Cena said it perfectly himself. Batista did it for money and cena did it cause he was passionate at it. Batista had a very tough upbringing so making money and being able to provide for himself and his family was important to him.

Past his prime now. I saw him live at an event as he visited my country once. Super cool guy, very approachable and great presence. Looked handsome in a suit as he appeared as a surprise referee In a Carlito vs. badshah Khan (a local-origin, Canadian raised wrestler) match. I was there to interview him but couldn't get past the security. Poor Carlito seems very unwell. Seemed high on something strong perhaps his pain pills or booze. He could barely walk as he came out the ramp. But he still managed a decent match.
This was about 8 years ago, when wade was already out of wwe for several years. If he can still wrestle, I doubt it.
Actually Wade Barrett was truly buried by Vince Macmahon. Wade didn't hit his potential until Bad News Barrett and when he did Vince told him to stop giving bad news because he didn't want him over.

Cena to me has always come across as a very plastic personality. Every nice thing you see him do .... that's not John Cena the man that's John Cena the brand. It makes him money, it gives him fame, it feeds his ego.
I think he is just very deliberate about how he wants the public to view him. This is something that The Rock is super focused on as well. Every decision is broken down with positives and negatives.
