In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all!
Mike is doing his Dumpster Aerobics. Always look forward to seeing what you will find next. God Bless You Mike.
If Dumpster Diving was an Olympic sport, Then Mike the Scavenger would definitely be representing the USA!
And the medals could be made by melting the Copper, Aluminum and Brass from the dumpsters
Agree
Hes my favorite. Cheers from B.C Canada. Just finished digging out 2ft of snow to get my car free
For sure he's got my vote
He’s get the Gold medal too!
Mike you are a cool dude, I love your videos especially some of the funny things you say--like you couldn't fall in water even if you were in a boat. You make my day, bless you.
Well, here we are once again, down in the dumps ter. Fun, fun, fun. We look forward all the time to getting dirty with Mike the Scavenger! Thanks again for taking us with you.
Love you Mike, you are the best. I'm glad that you keep on keeping on. Because you are a daily to me, without you I may not get a few giggles in. Be careful, and you gotta be strong. Thank you for doing this for us, out here. Have a great day,

I'm glad to see you finding some things that you can use or someone can use and save the environment too. I didn't know that there was a lot of stuff in the trash unused like that. WOW 😲😳😲😳 ! At least some of the steel parts can be used for something else. Way to go Mike 😊😊😊😊. Keep up the good work !!
Atta boy Mike! Keep thee old Dotster close so you can just toss it in!
Sweeettt curb side awesome miss those
Mike, please watch out for any rats. Some leather from an old coat can make some sleeves for around your arms and legs or just long baggy pants. Thousands of years ago I believe it was the Chinese that would attack on horseback with bow and arrows. They would wear those baggy shirts/capes that would fill up with air as they rode and these air-type bubbles on their backs would prevent the enemy's arrows from hitting them. Kind of like a cushion and the same idea could prevent a rat's bite from getting you. Just an idea, I have watched "Scrap and Pallet man" for about a year but got hooked on your show this past month. You don't let things go to waste as he does and your jumping in and out of those dumpsters so quickly is impressive. Go man Go ! :)
Nice video my friend, I also love scrapping as a hobby and to collect precious metals from scraps.
Thank you for for the video. And can't wait to see the next one.
Nice little haul! Thank you for what you do! ❤️
No scrap left behind!
Mike you are literally the only person besides my wife that I get excited for! I love your videos and your character! I started my own channel because of the inspiration from you!

I swear I think you work harder than anyone I know. Jumping in and out of those dumpsters is no joke.🤣👍
That lawry’s seasoned salt is one of my favorite things to use. Makes anything taste better!!!
You find the best scrap Mike
The RIDGID pail, hose, pump and strainers are made to use with a power pipe threader, where the cuttings and used oil drop into the pail, and the oil keeps getting reused. That said, the pails are aluminum, and the strainers at least used to be. The pump handle is also of cast aluminum. Good things to clean up and sell! New, they ain't cheap!
The mask system at 27:00 they have four Rare Earth magnets in the blue ends of the head straps, I get them when my wife gets a new one. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
Love your channel. It brings back so many memories. I done the retail and grocery store dumpsters for many many years until I got too old and in 2016 had to have a hip replacement and now can't climb. My favorite was KMart dumpster. I never made any money doing it because I gave the most of it to the needy. I knew the time of day when the merchants would throw their products and was watching and waiting. On meat days I had my ice chests with ice and sometimes would fill them up. I never had to buy meat, cheese and other stuff. Never bought any appliances. Everyday I drove by a little Black community church and dropped off all kinds of stuff, they loved it. A word of advice, don't tip off the stores that you are digging in their dumpster because they will totally destroy everything, that is the law. Be a little more Quiet!
Mike when you digging in them dumpster s your like a jack russel digging bro your like lightening buddy all the best john from across the pond brother 😊
Bravo Mike.
Ok here’s something crazy random! I’m the dude wearing the mask on the CPAP packages you found at 26:23 looking like Mad Maxx fury road.. 😂🤣😂🤣 I love your videos Mike!!!
Dotty said ouch! You hit her on the windshield. Little snipet on the windshield wiper.
Wire in the juice snippets 😆.
Those are Oilers for a pipe threader. All those shavings that you picked up, is what falls off of the pipe, and into the bucket. And with the gun, you Lube the pipe. So it doesn't burn the dyes on the machine.
Yes trash picking day coming up. Looking forward to seeing it!! Stay safe and healthy 🙏💖🙏
Yes, Mike, those CPAP supplies are big money, and they say you need to change it out every three months +/-.
Hello from Washington state again, It's COLD here 15 snowing, hard wind with chill factor ,-1. Super video Mike Great job, keep up the great job. Have lots of time watching your videos, Best videos on the net.THANKS
bird1959
So sorry for your loss.
Ridged oilers for cutting pipe
5:08 Sometimes they are so small they are so hard to get...😳😳😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Around 13:00, those "cable locks" are called carseals. Usually used to seal the caps or manways on tank trucks. Also use them to "lock" our valves open or closed. And yes, they are tamper evident.
A lil FYI , Mike, those Resmed Bags are like a dime a dozen ....
Everyone who gets a new machine gets a new bag and most people DO NOT TAKE THEM so thats why they end up in dumpster land !
They put cutting oil in the bucket and use the manual hand or foot pump oil to cool the pipe as the treads are being cut. Hence the metal shavings.
Mike I'm new to the channel. Been going back watching 2 or more of your older videos. Love your videos. Keep on keeping on brother.
Those rigid and flex conduits, tb's, bushing, cables, panels etc will never be trashed here... it's a pile of money..
This is your “Sunday morning so I can watch the Super Bowl” hunt...lol
Mike going to send you some fresh snow.
Scrap scrap scrap!!!!
Awesome 👍🏻 Mike
HI mike great video great scores . can you please do some curbside treasure and scrapping videos your truck might fill up faster like it used to .
As the joke goes, Elvis’ last words ? “Corn. I ate corn?”
The HomeFill2 is for filling small portable oxygen tanks . They work together with the large oxygen machines you find .
Lol. -6. Up north Alberta and farther up its-70 with the wind chill. Now that’s cold.
Mike, I'm an old English bulldog breeder.I think those oxygen machines could be use in a home made incubator for the puppies. Try to get in touch with breeders on the IOEBA face book page. you might find buyers there. Too bad I'm from Québec Canada
Please don’t block me….. 🤣😌 I love the channel. You inspire me. Just took a load of scrap in today in the snow. $179 haul. Up in BC Canada 👌🏻😎
That homefill2 is the machine that fills the empty Oxygen O2 canisters, that you can take out on outings, then come home and connect it to the homefill2 to fill for next time. it sits on top of the concentrator connecting to the two of them my mom had one.
Good job.
Great and awsome video my friend
Love your videos!!! Always look forward to the next one!! 😁😁😁
I'd like to see you take apart both the oxygen pumps or whatever they r. love you vids man keep them coming
The Ridgid container with the pump handle is for pipe thread cutting put the oil on the die.
Dig Deep dude! Dive Hard!
DO THE VIDEO... take that oxygen concentrator apart! Love the aqua socks.
Good morning Mike. ¹
Greetings Mike. GOD BLESS you. Be safe, healthy &blessed always
Not this time but in the past videos you have found cases of round flat LED lights. They don't take direct voltage. A small ballast is required. Been bing watching your videos. Scrap & pallet man said to check you out. Love your hummer.
Scrappy dappy doo day to ya Mike Stay safe
Bit of cord became supper treasure.
Come on up to Wisconsin Mike we had 31 below zero and 9 inches of snow this morning at around 6:00 am got to love this winter weather 😀 high today was a balmy 7 degrees above
the color code on BX was pushed by the national board of building inspectors to give the inspectors more time to do more important things They used to have to go from the outlet back to the power supply box to ckeck for correct wire size and use.
It’s definitely cold here in Iowa. That “article blast” won’t let up.
Any landing you can walk away from..any scrap that puts something in the truck
Not a bad haul today loved it
Up in Michigan on Lake Superior. -11 below 0. Come on up and do some snowmobile.🥶🥶🦦🥶
You get 6 inches of sun we got 6 inches of snow in new hampshire
Same in maine.
Nice ECHOOOO!
Ok. 🤝
I miss doing scraping. So thank you for the great video's.
A lot of those satelite dish LNB's have a little bit of gold in them.
Those rigid buckets are for threading pipe. There is oil in the bottom and the gun pumps the oil so u can squirt it on the pipe you're threading.
My uncle died on the toilet like Elvis, funny that's one way I would not want to go, I mean go while your going, sheeze.
The enerzier bunny has nothing over this guy osome Channel.
It was 15F this morning when I got up. Went up to about 30 today and felt positively balmy. All that medical tubing wants to go to crafters; I can see where the Smalls might end up in the dumpster. That's where the small latex gloves would go too; this woman wears Large.
Great scores brother!!!! I picked up a few items at a local dump I was able to get into. Got some copper wire plus a hand full of good aluminum wire🤩🤩🤩 Then later on a friend had some goodies for me to pick up. Tomorrow I have another pick up, scrappy scrap yeah!!!!!!! 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 Happy Scrapping!!!!!
Got me hooked on watching your videos .
U take it all mike. Yaa
Hello from Newfoundland canada love your videos makes me laugh sometimes when you punch the dumpster lol keep the video coming
I just found your videos and I absolutely love them ....your killing me tho when you dont grab them soda cans lol keep doing what u do bro
wow it alots 😱😱
Like your never even there you said. The Army says "Leave No Footprint". Wherever you go, whatever you do, leave it like you were never there.
You should carry a saw of some sort for tires with rims , that's some weight !
We are praying for that in Michigan stay safe stay blessed
It’s not little pieces of conduit!!!! It’s snippets!!! LoL
Those rigid oiler guns are aluminum and so are some of the catch pans
I am sooo jealous 77 here in st Louis it's 2 degrees 😁❤
Would love you to one night go after cardboard, stack it up high like the pallet man does with pallets and take it to a recycle place to see how much money you get.. thinks its about 200 a tonne. Cardboard is deceptively heavy and IMO you can fill that truck real easy in a night. Use straps to hold it tightly down.
dont know why but i love your vids
If you collected soda cans you would be rich. Great video.
👑
Those Quattro Air Cpap masks sell for close to 100 on eBay.
Hi Mike love from India
Can't stop watching your videos bro.
Lots of love 🙏🙏
Snibbits!!
I did mention before you can sell the pumps outta the invacare breathing machines! Like 50 bucks more for the right ones! Oxygen concentrator!
Maybe donate them to a nursing home? I know there's people in them that use the CPAP machines....can't hurt to look into it 😁.
Btw love your videos especially the curbside scavenging....
Much love from Colorado ❤️
