Don't think so, I've played the game long enough to have been cam-killed by a regular attack at high health many times. And not even on the higher difficulties.

When Ster died to the bandit chief I got flashbacks to clearing that area at level 30 and having the same problem
I remember how I got tired of using heavy armour and desided it's time to start training light armour, made myself that cool looking glass armour and the first dragon I fought just ate me through a goddamn pillar when I had about 98% health left.

Werewolf form doesn't add armor so he can still die very easily while putting himself in high danger.
