Yeah Martin brundle was a very respectable level as a driver after all he was in f1 for many seasons but he is the Ayrton Senna of broadcasting.
Martin brundle has been the only constant presence of all the f1 coverage I’ve ever watched. I’d say he’s a bigger legend than even Murray Walker at this point. I’m so glad he’s still at the top of his game and hope we have him for a lot longer working in f1 coverage.

Surely the organizer and promoter are one and the same?
'F1 Broadcasting Group (Delta Topco) Ltd'
      - this was the Formula 1 commercial rights holder and parent group owned by Bernie Ecclesiastical (God Holdings Ltd) & co., which both held the broadcasting rights and promoted the sport, whilst the FIA regulated it.
But yes, after this Martin Brundle went to see God (angry) and campaigned for a red coupon, prevously only given to team owners or management, VIPs, Race Director (Charlie), race officials & stewards, and anyone else that God deemed worthy, and was given the honour for life (just as Murray had been in 2000 following his retirement).
This is no small achievement. Very few people earn a red badge. Murray was given one on his 77th birthday. Once a person has a red coupon, they can enter any Grand Prix circuit worldwide completely FOC, and gain access all areas during all 4 days - FOR LIFE.
This is regardless of any broadcast coupon (white) he may be entitled to as part of a presentation team - which is, in itself, restricted in both scope & access.
This means, that the only 7 people working for Sky right now who technically neither have to apply for, or be restricted by, presentation coupons throughout the race season, are Martin, Johnny, Damon, Jenson, Paul, Anthony, and Nico. It's obvious why Damon, Jensen and Nico have one, and as seasoned ex-F1 drivers', Johnny was given one by Bernie, Paul (DTM Champion also) asked Liberty for one and got, and Anthony as test driver for Mercedes got.
Karun doesn't have one. Presumably because he's not important enough. And because he's a crap driver. Reading his Wikipedia page it's not hard to see why. Anyone who can qualify LAST, 1.7 SECONDS behind teammate Bruno Senna, himself 2nd LAST on the grid, and failing to finish even a SINGLE lap and CRASH during the formation lap of his FIRST Grand Prix after hitting a BUMP on the tarmac, and who has the impressive achievement of being sacked after just ONE race by Lotus in 2011.. And who's best finish was 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, and 19th in HRT going backwards up the grid before being sacked halfway through his first season, replaced by Yamamoto and reduced to being a RADIO commentator. A role he reprised after being sacked after just ONE race in 2011. He drove in Forrmula E before being sacked, his best finish17th.. before going back to radio commentary. He wasn't even deemed good enough to commentate for Indian television.
      Jesus.

The only CAM security I can find associated with f1 is an Austrian based event organiser, they don’t provide actual security but rather help arrange local security. Also seems a bit weird for the supposed head of a company to be acting as a steward even if they did at this time provide all security (unlikely given the size of events and the fact f1 takes place across multiple continents).

Actually security and integrity are non-negotiable for major events such as this. My experience working major events from both employer and client is a simple NO PASS NO ENTRY NO EXCEPTIONS. It was MB who didn’t wear his pass and regardless of whether he was recognised and had been seen with his pass previously passes can and do get revoked for a number of reason. If he didn’t have it with him then the guards/marshalls did their job as required.
