      Think this is where Vettel vents his anger saying that they should Red flag the quali because the conditions were dangerous.
      Should be interesting this year with the track changes and repositioning of the grandstand.

      @@nickza1983 the Series showed good you cant be F1 driver tidsy if you dobt have a big Portion self serving prick in you. Seb showed it in Schumacher way, when he was over the hill already even too. The Haas chief basically had the biggest problem with Grosjean because he was too " soft" fir the Business from the start. YOUNG drivers all felt like mega divas apart from Ocon.

      @@herzkine also, i cant speak for other countries but since seb is german like me: we have to pass a first aid test just to get a normal drivers license, im pretty sure he would have paid more attention to it than me given his job xD over here we are supposed to do just what he did in case we spot an accident on the road so that might influence him to do so in this case

Look at the recent 'bump' where Charles (I speak under correction) knocked Seb, he didn't loose his mind, he just casually said "okay, drive into me then" - Seb is someone the rest should really look up to.

      Absolutely. I remember being a youngster and listening to him speaking english. I had no clue back then so i reminded him as a good english speaker. But recently i watched a video of him, about those years... man, he was so terrible... He will never manage to do it properly i imagine.

    Carlos is such a good person. He looked genuinely worried and only started talking again after he saw that Lando was okay. Everytime I see Carlos and Lando talk after a race even though they ended up in different teams makes me feel joy to know that there is also true friendship beyond just the sport and buissness.

    Honestly I just have so much love for Carlos Sainz and Sebby Vettel. Seb has always been one of my favourite drivers, both on and off the grid. But they both seem like such genuinely nice guys. Also, it has to be said, Fernando Alonso has REALLY changed his attitude. Now that he's no longer racing for the championship but just for the fun of racing he's turned into such a different character. I'm starting to really like seeing him on the grid. Welcome back, Fernando.

      I followed Alonso on and off track and I found him to be quite a turd. Which is also necessary to become a world champion most of the time but that doesn't take away that his personality change is very noticeable.

    First the big accident during the W Series accident and now Lando’s crash. Thank god everyone got out of their accidents safely and with minor injuries! You can also clearly see the worry in Carlos face when he realized that was Lando that crashed.

      Makes you think about the 94 weekend in Imola.. with the Barrichello crash, Ratzenberger death and then Senna. Everyone kept saying not to race. FIA fucked up with how long it took them to decide not to race but ultimately it was the right decision. Something was brewing and thank goodness it didn’t go past the Lando accident

      @@bs2055 But we also have to thank the FIA with stepping up the safety of the cars since the Imola crash in 94. But like you said, thank god that the accidents didn't go past the Lando crash and nothing going to the point of the Hubert accident in 2019.

    Folks forget that Alonso and Norris have a bit of history in that when before Norris started his F1 career he raced in the same car as Alonso at Daytona 24h and impressed Alonso greatly. They are friends I'm sure.

      Yeh, and to drive it in the rain even more. Have you seen the videos of Kimi driving through there and then through the smoke during qualifying. Super brave back in his Mclaren days.

      To be fair, Lando started to lose traction going over the bump at the bottom of Eau Rouge and then completely lost traction in Raidillon. Thankfully, no one was right behind him. 🙂

    Noemí is a great friend of Carlos since she's the reporter of the channel which broadcasts F1 in Spain. She had no problem with Carlos stopping, Carlos knew she would understand and she had no problem.

      Same, Romain Grosjean’s crash was the worst I’ve seen in a long time. The time between the crash and seeing him get out was horrible to watch.

      He was also very angry that the session wasn’t stopped before this happened. He had been calling for it on the lap before Lando crashed. I really like Seb, he seems like a great guy.

    Anyone else notice how both people interviewed had close ties to Norris? Sainz was obviously his teammate for years, but before Lando got the drive, he was working with Fernando in the garage in 2018. It's a small world.

      Never thought of this. Lando was around the factory a lot before he got the drive so would have spent a lot of time learning from Fernando.

    I am a new fan in F1 industry, so I would like to know why is Lando racing but Carlos is giving an interview. Was this while they were in the stage of qualifying?

      this was during Q3 (3rd quali session), only the 10 fastest from Q2 make it through to Q3. carlos was knocked out in Q2, giving an interview during Q3 (lando was racing in Q3) and he saw the crash mid interview :)
