Unfortunately, Suica is sold in Tokyo area but you can purchase ICOCA in Kansai area instead of Suica. ICOCA and Suica have the same function. To get ICOCA, please visit the counter that is located on the right in the video below.

One of our many Japanese homestay daughters was from Osaka..When my daughter was an ELT in Ehime-ken ( 2011-2013) she met up a couple of times with our other "daughter". We spent 3 days in Shinsaibashi before staying 3 days in Kyoto then down to Imabari for 2 weeks...one of those a teaching day... surprise....When people learned we were from NZ they were so :-)).

1. In my opinion, they would be more informative if you could please focus on signs/instructions... at every turn, every stairway, platform you used to board the train...a few seconds longer.

Hi Shiba-shiba, ar minute 4:37, i saw the option of buying “Value Ticket from Kansai … to Osaka Subway ¥1021”. Please explain about it. Does this ticket cover the ride from KIX to Tengachaya and unlimited (or just only one) Osaka subway rides on the same day?

The ticket you mentioned covers the ride from KIX to Namba and one Osaka Metro ride. Unfortunately, it is necessary to transfer at Namba Station. This means you cannot change trains at Tengachaya Station. For details see the link down below.
