Good to see that Trail Master there in the line-up! I recently purchased the San Mai III version, which unfortunately was somewhat more expensive than the price you named!
However, the knife even exceeded my expectations. There is a reason why this decades old design still features prominently in Top 5 lists of big knives. The design works, and Cold Steel still maintain a good handle on achieving excellent quality levels. The overall fit & finish is top notch and the bade is perfectly symmetrical and beautifully finished, and sharp.
I did, however, replace the standard sheath with a custom-made sheath by Rob Evans (Wales) and it's a beauty. That quality knife deserves a special home!

Great video. I'm digging the series, Semper Fi!
The Steel Eagle was the first knife TOPS produced. The 107C is their flagship model.
The Armageddon is my favorite TOPS knife. I got Leo himself to smooth down the middle finger choil so it is a lot more comfortable in my big gorilla fingers. And yes, I replaced the sheath with kydex.
I've also owned and used the KaBar Short Bowie for over ten years and it's very reliable.

I'm impressed your a knife maker too and you know just about every other quality manufacturers products in detail as well. Great videos sir. Keep um' coming! Most importantly, thank you for your service to our country.

Great video. You said it very well about sheaths for large knives. I don't work with kydex, which is an option. Most of the large knife sheaths, as you say, have poor retention and are too big. I am cheap. I do leatherwork on crummy factory sheaths. This means basically adding or repositioning straps and snaps. Sometimes, if I modify (slightly enlarge) a handle by adding 550 cord or whatever, I have to make a longer strap.
There are some unsightly, but good options out there. Say you like a $13 Ontario Old Hickory 7 inch butcher knife for in camp usage. No sheath. Well, the inexpensive $12 ka-bar leather sheath made in Mexico fits perfectly.
I have used Machete Specialists for acquiring cheap sheaths for 10/12/14 inch knives and for machetes and swords.
Some people like Spec Ops sheaths. Works well for a Glock knife and many others. However, some knives will rattle in a Spec Ops sheath.
For my collection of fixed blade knives (some with add on items like wrapped 550 cord and some without add ons), I also put on 3 ranger bands. A ranger band is nothing more that a piece of cut bicycle inner tube that will hold an object to a sheath when it may become desirable.
So, you have a picture that my sheaths will never win beauty contests, but they do function.

Say Heah, I wish you would have a opinion on some Busse Combat Knives. Namely the Battle Mistress and some other larger knives like the Nuclear Meltdown Fussion Steel Heart. There's alot more. But these two are some of mine.,,. p

If you watch the show Alone on history channel which is the best and only survival show I watch. Besides survivor man. But he stopped doing that along time ago. Anyway most of the survivalists carry a big knife. Borderline machetes.
