Crazy isn’t the word I’d use, I’d say it was disgraceful. From the time I was a child in the early 90’s to now, the game has changed so much that I don’t even recognise it as the same sport anymore. Aussie rules, the game I loved as a kid and grew up with, no longer exists. I’ve given up on AFL, I no longer go to games or watch it on tv, CZcams clips of old games from the 80’s and 90’s is all I have left now.

Several of these key players we had to let go, and in 2001 we were crueled by injury, that was some team in 2000. Lost only a single game. Sheeds may have stayed too long but gee Sheeds was and remains a bloody good coach. Hard, fair, and look at us now, a inconsistent rabble with no 'guts' that Sheedy was able to hammer into these EFC teams. Injuries, the ASADA AFL fix up disgrace aside we should be on 17 by now. Worsfold I sadly do not think has that shit in him nor the game plan. EFC players have always been pampered unlike the 'shinboners', and to me that feeds into their lazy style default, giving up, not fighting out hard. Clock's ticking EFC Board. We supporters of this magnificent club will not wait much longer it has been two decades now.

Best team ever. The winning margins were huge and the only game they lost was because of a massive brawl. Too bad they only won 1 premiership in that 3 year time period (99,00,01)

Just think Essendon could’ve had 3 premierships. Also I wonder who would have won Essendon - Carlton G.F with Silvagni and Koutoufides available? Essendon were the best team that year but Carlton with Koutoufides and Silvagni available might have made life interesting.
