- Uploaded in 50FPS, please enjoy these extended highlights of the 1993 Grand Final. Kevin Sheedy's so-called 'Baby Bombers' took on David Parkin's Carlton. It was expected to be a close match, as previous meetings between the two had seen a draw, as well as a 2 point qualifying final win to Carlton. This game was notable for the tremendous pressure and skill throughout, and for one of the great Grand Final goals.

Carlton were struggling against both Michael Long and the umpires on the day. Umpires were just as bad back then. It’s just social media era makes it more noticeable. Essendon were better team deserved the win
Gee the Big Fish was a good player: Paul Salmon
What a tosser Gerrard Healey on this occasion. " Might have run too far". He took ten (10) paces.

Meh. Not like it had any impact on the match in the grand scheme of things. Good thing there's now video reviews for those sorts of things though, eh?
Why did Sheedy need to have his players play so dirty, so unsportsman-like. His team was the best: there was no need to cripple key opposition players. Must be the pathological Irish gene.
Ummmm did you ever see Sheedy play? And the team he played in? Might have something to do with it
@@melthoidserendipity1332 I grew up in Melbourne and recall the phrase, "it brings out the Irish in me," meaning the person lost impulse control and acted out like a crazed moron. Not all Irish people are pugalistic, but I noticed that most of the fights that broke out at school, at concerts, and in bars were started by Irish men. It strongly suggests a genetic flaw or degenerate culture.
