- Reviewing the Nothing CMF Buds, the best budget true wireless earbuds that I've tested in 2024, boasting ANC and customisable controls. For just over £30 here in the UK, the Nothing CMF Buds offer stunning value for money. Here's my unboxing and full verdict and check out my other TWS earbud reviews here on Tech Spurt!
For this price, the CMF Buds by Nothing really do pack in an awful lot. The noise cancelling is surprisingly good at this budget cost, muffling traffic and other otherwise intrusive noise. So you can enjoy your music, podcasts etc without boosting the volume to ear-splitting levels.
The dependable touch controls and app support also make the Nothing CMF Buds one of the best budget true wireless options in 2024. Battery life is simply fine, while the case can recharge the earbuds quickly. However, the plastic design and limited audio codec support will put some off - despite them being almost unavoidable at this price.
So that's what I think of the Nothing CMF Buds after testing them as my full-time Bluetooth TWS for a week. Let us know your own thoughts below!

Just picked up a pair in Orange so that I do not lose them while doing yard work and yard work is mostly why I picked them up. Thanks for the pointers on setting up the controls! So far I love these cheap CMF (Cheap Mo Fo's) buds!
Thanks for taking time to review these earbuds. I returned my Moondrop Space Travel to go with the CMF as 1) app included custom EQ option, 2) volume control within the app, 3) MUCH louder and deeper bass (use Ultra Bass at level 1 or 2) and 4) proximity sensor to stop music when removed from my ears. Changed to Spinfit 1025 eargels and definitely got a better fit for me vs included M gels. Thx agin for sharing!!

I bought these and the pros. I sent the pros back! The standard ones sounded better to me for half the price
I own the ear 3 since last year, very good quality but you have to get them recharged after 4 hours!
I use 8 dollar earbuds from five below 😅 they work just fine.. buy yeah I would definitely like to have some earbuds that have ear tips and especially the color that pops like the red orange ones

Hmm looks interesting. I'm not sure whether to go for the more expensive Nothing earbuds or the CMF... I have €130 Sony's and they have a cheap plastic case as well, not to mention very annoying connection problems (just one earbud will connect sometimes and the temporary solution is factory resetting them...

@@ryvnplays9023 Not bad at all. Only criticisms at this price would be comfort (better for short-term use) and how easy it is to double-tap to hang up on someone by accident if you're trying to adjust a bud in your ear.

@@vigneshtj8460comparing the too the budget nothing earphones cms do have dolby atmos but id step up a bit higher to the nothing ear 1/2 gen the dolby atmos is strong

Hmm, that case was larger than I hoped, I have my one+ buds pro in my "watch pocket" and that's basically a demand for any next buy. Can the touch stuff be turned off in case you want to try to sleep with music on? My one+ stuff also keeps claiming the buds aren't in my ears and then they pause, refuse to go into ANC or drop to "transparency" mode which drives me mad and also drains the battery extra fast to boot!
Anyone know if the wind filtering is good for cycling? I should have waited a few months until these come out cause I got a cheap pair of the nothing stick.

I'm using the QCY HT05. No complaints so far. Bad ass battery life and very light. ANC not bad for the price.

I prefer open fit models with low latency so this is a no for me, but a good headphone
Cheap doesn’t mean bad, I had my Sony wf c500 which were fairly pricey and while the sound was good they were terrible otherwise, the earbuds would stay on even after putting them in case, the dang lights on the buds would always glow even when not in use and the most annoying thing was that the right earbud completely stopped working after just 2 years. I ordered these so hopefully they last

6 years ago I bought another cheap mother ffff 😅 it's was a JBL earbuds and I say till then now I use it everyday and charge and discharge millions time and it's still good as gold very solid device and also 6 years old JBL have more future than this 2024 earbuds 😅

The App still doesn’t work reliably with IOS. Latest App and Firmware (may 24). Tried reseting, rebooting etc, Life is too short for flakey experiences. Not recommended for Apple users.

Mate, these aren't just regular bluetooth earbuds; they're active noise cancelling bluetooth earbuds, as in they actively cancel out background noise so you don't need to turn them up ridiculously loud to hear whatever you're listening to. To buy earbuds with the best version of that tech (such as Apple's AirPod Pros, Bose's Quietcomfort Earbuds, or even Sony's WF-1000XM5s) you usually wind up spending somewhere between £200 and £250, so the idea of earbuds managing to accomplish the same task at a price of £30 is pretty impressive (assuming they can).
No audiophile uses wireless earphone/headphones.
So the first CMF is already outdated because they released another version a couple of months after. 😅
