Morathi will gestate into a new version of Slaanesh because she leeched an... excess of essence, calling it now.
I had a similar thought. This seems like a good possibility

Morathi HATES slaanesh, I doubt she would ever willingly fuse with him
@@chrisbromley2 Morathi bounces between hate and love for Slaanesh almost as much as she does with her son. I don't see her willingly merging either because she will lose power with the DoK, but still.

To be honest, in The Sundering Malekith, Morathi made *very clear* how good she is at making herself useful, she is very good with timing as well, she never acts on her own unless there is a bigger fish to fry, in many cases, *uplifting somedy herself to become said bigger fish*
For those wondering no I don’t see this as any end to grand alliances. Internal conflicts are common. Destruction and chaos always squabbles amongst itself. And order has had major conflicts in the past. Stormcast razing cities they thought was corrupted, lumineth turning on allies, minor wars against the daughters of Khaine. Perfect example Drycha and her ilk slaughtering millions during the AOC after convincing her followers Allarielle was gone. And it is stated numerous times Tyrion and Teclis aren’t really on the best terms with sigmar. And melerion has no real contact or alliance with the other gods forces, and is even implied to have wiped some of them out when they ventured into his realm. Besides Morathi likely knows she can’t beat sigmar forces overall. She’ll likely attempt to parley at some point in the narrative.
@Lorenzo Panza I think her son called her out on that once. and how she often uses the consequences of a betrayal in order to justify it in the first place.
I gotta say I really like what they've been doing with age of sigmar and the continuing evolution of the narrative. The realm gate wars I felt were little bit slow but once they started up the whole malign portance and soul war I have been liking it
I really hope that there will be a broken realms with archaon
agreed, and one where his mount doesnt do ALL the work

Really looking forward to Broken Realms. Although Dawi will always be my favorites something about the total duplicity and underhandedness of Morathi has always made me like her. Can’t wait to see what she has been planning all these years.

Really thank you! I was totally ditching warhammer fantasy lore for ever since end time. You are probably the few souls still capturing essence of world building, and I am really interested in a soulbound gameplay/adventure.
really hope at some point Morathi tries to trick Kroak and just get mind wiped from existence XD i feel its going to end up shes going to get greedy start sucking more of slaanesh essence out and using his broken bonds will flip the tables and use her as new host body for his essence
I enjoy the smart characters because war is all about the politics surrounding it, the people with power wanting something or another. its never just, two armies fighting. There is always so much more depth to it and 40k tends to drop the ball on that a lot.

Hey man, I’m not the Lore-Master Doug is but GW seems to like to keep their timelines a little vague but I think it’s been at least a century since the Necroquake, maybe closer to two.

@@2Tough The only issue I have with what they did with Fantasy was that they killed it before we could get a chance to see the eastern lands. In other words, they killed it before they could finish the exploration of the whole world and all of the cultures that are in it. Cause I don't think that we have any factions that have some Native American influence in design, culture, or anything like that, though I could be wrong. As well, as the culture of those who lived in the Outback of Australia and the people's that lived in the Pacific ocean or in other words islanders.

I doubt they're the unscratchable kill you with a thought type beings gods in D&D are. That's more akin to what the chaos gods would be. I see the gods more as embodiments of their realm.

I have no idea. Chaotic-neutral aelfs? It just seems werid that Morathi would stay in armies of order, beeing at the same time in war with Sigmar.
@@jdurthu4304 order os just a lose term for all the races that want to build kingdoms and civilization. order does not necessarily mean good guys, meny on fact are actually quite neutral
@@jdurthu4304 Morathi should be Chaos. Just like Malal in 40k who is a Chaos god who uses Chaos to fight Chaos.

Varanite was first introduced in Wrath of Everchosen.
@@marekshatat I know that, but the fact that the realmstone itself is made up of the conjoining of all the winds but corrupted by Chaos, it reminds me of warhammer fantasy's type of magic known as Dhar, which was dark magic that combined every wind.
