I live in the U.S - I have the same exact Yas Marina Blue F80 M3 (same DCT). And it is also my first BMW. The reason I bought it is, the blue color is awesome, and when the salesman told me that the car puts a smile on my face (yes I know it is a sales pitch) nevertheless it puts a smile on your face. I enjoyed watching my car described in British accent in beautiful countryside UK!
Sad to see the V8 go. But actually having torque is really nice.

I have the same car but mine has cream interior and no rev meter on the steering wheel. But it still gives me that smile you have every time i drive it. It was the very same smile the day i picked her up from the dealership! Agree with everything you say about it. Words cannot explain the sheer feeling it gives you in your gut when you put your foot down in this beast! Its a mixture of fear, excitement and fun the fear makes you want to hit the brakes because you fear the safety of your m3 but the excitement takes over and that just wants to make you put your foot down even further and see how fast can it go.
M4 and M3 are great cars - I have this car since 8 months and it is an epic car

Yeah I want to focus on attainable sports cars but still cover both ends, for example something like this M3 is much more realistic than a Lambo/Mclaren, those cars are great but they just dont appeal to me much. Love these crazy engined 'normal cars' (If you can call them that)

Great vid! Apart from the fact it's always trying to kill me, I love my M4. It's a smile machine. Disconnected the Active Sound - sounds so much better, more natural. My 4th M Car.
Thanks mate! And the fact that it is always trying to kill you could be seen as an engaging drive right? Haha. Would be interesting to hear what it sounds like with active sound off, especially as the exhaust is pretty loud.
TR Hamza yeah it does make it more engaging. I work in Kings Heath if you want to have a listen. I also own a Porsche 997 C2s, a completely different animal.
Hey brother, great review! Question, you said it was a 2015; did the owner do an LCI conversion to the rear to get the tail lights on it? To my understanding, LCI was implemented for 2016 MY. Keep it up!
Took a guy out in my M3 Comp F80 he was a mechanic for VW and when he calmed down he said that is Stupid Fast from an Audi fan that was surprising. Like you say it is how it gets there.

Awesome car, i just prefer VAG in the hatchback segment, when I can make the move into a sports saloon it will probably be something like this, big M fan.

Yeah definitely, so many get caught up in the debates but these feel so different to drive than hatchbacks you don't really care about traffic light launch control races haha

I drove a 2016 M4 DCT for a weekend last year. Much quicker than I expected and would definitely scare some more powerful and expensive machinery on the road

I used to have a M4. I was told by the 'M' specialist that this DCT box is also used by Ferrari in the California and Mercedes in the SLS. Cant say for certain if that's true but if its good enough for Ferrari...

Yeah a few people have been surprised by the variety but I always wanted for this channel to be more than S3 videos so hopefully should continue diversifying 👍🏼 And Alfa Guilia Quadrifoglio is one of my favourite cars out at the moment so would love to film it, not sure many people have one though so it may be difficult, and I dont fancy doing a test drive video like some do as they come out really average haha. Who knows, I didn't know I could get hold of an M3 until recently so maybe soon!

a real heavy hitter people that think hot hatches can keep up with m3 and m4 are clueless s3 are quick but you know m3 are a different league brilliant car and brilliant noise,has there ever been a bad m3? i don't think so.
mohammed bostan hot hatches definitely can keep up and on occasion beat the m3 and m4 sir. I can prove that if you like lol ? Ask Hamza him self haha
Yeah agreed, the M3 is a different league to any hot hatch when driven properly, serious machine, just requires respect. I guess the hatchbacks just allow for brisk progress without much skill, especially when weather is poor.
