- In this video i just wanted to share my creation process of modelling a base model weapon which is a magnum gun. It's a speed up modelling video with commentary hope you guys like it .
If you want the low poly model you can download it from here :-

You can follow me on patreon where you will be able to download the the project files and models that i will be using in my tutorials and speed ups modelling or sculpting videos.

I might start modelling with a cube I always started with a plane but only means I have an extra step of extruding it later. Cube looks the easiest way to do it. Thank you for putting this video up it’s saved me a lot of time :) ! You’re getting subbed :)
Really awesome stuff!
Really looking forward to some UE and Blender workflow! This would be very valuable to me. Thanks for your quality tutoring
thanks for letting me know i will try to share best of my knowledge with you guys .
I love the vid, while I’m not a unreal engine user , love the blender video and your work flow is pretty nice 👍
thanks in near future i will try to give more usefull tutorials of blender .
Looks good!
thanks
The material looks really good! You'll get big on youtube in no time if you continue creating content like this.
thanks jeno for your appreciation , i am trying to cover not only modelling but also texturing , lighting and animation i just don't want target specific audiences that why i am covering all these topics to grow my channel more on youtube.
@@SaqibHussain88 I may be too late but the idea of you makimg a FPS on unreal is appealing. Please do make such tutorials
Nice One ^_^ wish to see more in-depth Tuts ;-)
thanks in near future i will try to do an in depth tutorial too.
Thank you!
you're welcome.
I modeled a lot of guns in Max and Blender and tend to work from highpoly to lowpoly and than to LODs using a lot of references, patent drawings, videos and if avaible factory blueprints. It is interesting to watch and take some techniques from tutorials even when topic is familiar. I must admit aproach in this video is way faster. It was interesting.
Looking forward for UE tutorials - never worked with it.
Thank you.
thanks for the feedback glad you like it . I will post some unreal tutorials in near future but right now i am focusing on giving tutorials based on environment and architecture.I have set a poll on my youtube community tab it will be great to also know your opinion. thanks for your comment i really appreciate it .
@@SaqibHussain88 Enviroment and architecture is new topic for me, so it is highly appreciated.
Excellent work.. subbed.
Thanks for the sub! Much appreciated.
Great work bro👏👏👏
thanks bro
thank you so much
nice work bro keep it up....
thanks
Might I ask you, how do you quickly connect vertices with a line to eliminate moons? Are you using the knife tool for this task? Thank you!
I press J while selecting the two vertices to make an edge between them if it doesn't work due to some issue in topology then i go for the knife tool.
Hey, great video, just a question, I see you use a lot of boolean, I thought that messed with the topology? I guess I am wrong? Idk it seems very interesting as I personally usually always refrain from using it.
thanks, yeah it does mess with the topology but the main reason i use the boolean is that it helps to create your base mesh fast it speeds up the process you can even later use the knife tool if your topology is not looking good you can later fix them by creating edge loops or just by joining vertices by creating edge between them with knife tool.
@@SaqibHussain88 Thanks for the reply that's great. Do you get a sense of what type of booleans mess up or do fine in it. And I guess it matters less on parts that doesn't need rig based animating. It looks awesome. Loved your eevee lighting tutorial too. I am subbing.
@@artisanmage5378 whenever i try to use boolean i try to focus on the number of polygons which i use to add or deduct mesh . Before using boolean I try to figure out how much do i need to bevel to make a geometry stand out with less amount of polygons after that i use it as a boolean .Thanks for the subscribe.
wow
What’s the shortcut for clearing a preset loop if shape?
i would love a character tutorial full body then texturing and then rigging the character
It also makes me excited to create a content based on character but due to work its difficult for me to create a full body based character in small amount of time I can't compromise on the quality. But in future I will try to make character tutorials too.
How did you put the model in wire frame and still use the photo as a ref. I press Shift + Z and everything is in wireframe
I think you will need to click on show overlays that is located in the top right corner of the 3d viewport . Hope this helps.
Is it ok to have nGon like in this video the suppressor have the n gon at 1: 45
Hi I have a noobie doubt, when using the booleans on the barrel (cylinder) it creates faces with more than 4 vertices, should I fix the geometry after the gun is complete or is it not needed
I have a question ?
I'm wearing a bone-clad weapon and adding animation. but I get an error when I put it to unreal. the main bone system is visible, only the bone systems connected to it are not visible. and that's why it doesn't work in animosya. What could be the reason?
Thank you for the great videos Bro, any chance of making videos for complete beginners, ...
Will try.
If you are a beginner, the best way to start is the Blender Fundamentals playlist on CZcams
I could not figure out how to make the barrel have 6 even shots. This helps somewhat.
Make more tutorials on materials and textures

Hello sir please make k weapon modeling tutorial , I'm very confused about Boolean and bevel edges
Hi i have a question, How did you Color the revolver?
Pardon me, I did not understand you ? Did you mean how I applied material to it ?
@@SaqibHussain88 yes How do i apply material?
@@pressstress3793 just select any vertex, edge or face of the revolver .Then hover your mouse over revolver and pres L key to select that part .Then in the material press the plus key and apply that material to revolver.
@@SaqibHussain88 Thanks man!
Nice video! How did you 1:04?
Scale the mesh vertices and then beveled them by Ctrl b if you don't get your desired results then Ctrl z to undo and redo the beveling part.
1:04 how you did this step; by the way loved your tutorial
same question
6:16 how did you do it?
If you move mesh in edit mode then you can see the orgin of the mesh will not change .
Then in object mode you can press shift s and use cursor to selected .
Then select transform orientation to cursor and then in edit mode duplicate the selected mesh and
rotate the mesh to create a circle.
Hey friend can I get this image used in the video.
blender series please (i dont know evrything about blender i have problems)
I will try
How did yyou do 7:15?
I just beveled the edges , Not sure what you wanted to point out ?
how to insert gun image in blender 2.8?
Switch to orthographic view by pressing 1 or 3 then press shift + A then select image and then refference or background and then select the image you want to import into blender.
Thanks
