- Ursula's Return introduces two brand new starter decks: Amber/Amethyst (Madrigal Magic) and Sapphire/Steel (Stand Together). As the names suggest, these have a big focus on the Encanto Franchise and great synergies between Heroes.
In this video, we play a gameplay match and show you a little bit of the synergy with the new cards, including the introduction of the new Sing Together mechanic. We also do a breakdown of the full list of cards for these decks.

@@InkbornHeroes it does make me curious as to if the game will include Pixar films, characters whose films were stop motion, Wish....so on and cards for them?

I love it as well! So many beautiful arts this set. It was hard to pick one! ^^
I saw few videos and at the middle of the pay, the players has only 1-2 cards to play. The cards has not powerful effects yet to make some combos, search in the graveyard...etc. Maybe is a good idea to start with 2 inks at the beginning to have more options in the middle-final part of the game.
It’s indeed a challenge with the starter decks in particular, since they don’t have a lot of card draw options usually so you end up running out of cards often. But with better built decks it’s not as much of a problem
I really like the gameplay, i would love it even more if a digital version is displaying when you play a card just like extra turn in command zone 😍
Hey hey! Thank you so much for your comment. Not sure if I understand it properly, though! 😅 Do you mean showing a digital image of the card on screen, as we play it? We do that already. Hahah! (Unless you are referring to the live video we did of Illumineer’s quest extreme difficulty). Apart from that, we always show an image of the card on screen, on the same side as the player who plays it. 😅
@@InkbornHeroes sorry for not being clear haha no I ment a more interactive animation, of course you wouldn't understand it as I was not describing what I was thinking in a understandable way 😅 and I also shouldn't expect everyone to know what extra turns and command zone is, it's more for the mtg nerds as myself 😁
I’m still a little lost, sorry 😂 Do you just mean the effect when the card appears? I checked out Command Zone to see what they do, and I’m struggling to see the difference otherwise (they show a card when played, like we do)
In the command zone, they feature animated visuals of the characters as they are deployed to the battlefield. Additionally, animations are used to indicate life loss or gain, and any new abilities gained by a card are visually displayed on it. While creating these animations isn't cheap or easy, I believe they would significantly boost viewer engagement and impact. You can see this in action in the "Outlaws of Thunder Junction Game Knights 69" episode.
@@b1boomergamer402 Ok! I just watched the specific video you mentioned now, and OMG! This looks SO EPIC!!! 😳But it would take a tremendous amount of time to produce one by one, for every single card. I could see us doing this more in the future, if our channel grows as much as theirs. But for now, it would probably take 3x longer to post-produce it! Good shout though! We will keep in mind. Thanks for sharing! ^^
Is the +1 Lore from casita acumulative?
For the Casita it’s only 1 lore no matter how many characters you have there.
Which website do you guys use to make your mats?
We actually make the design ourselves, but using Playmat World to produce them. If you’d like access to the digital files, they’re available via our CZcams Memberships

We designed the playmats ourselves and had them printed locally here in Canada 😊
Because the art is owned by Ravensburger, they can't be sold. But we're investigating doing some giveaways in future, so watch this space 🤩

Where did you get those counter tokens?
We got them from an Etsy store called “LaserGaming”.
Shouldn't you each be getting Lore when your opponent's characters get banished?
Normally you only gain lore when questing, unless a card says otherwise, such as Merlin Goat or like Philoctetes in this game.
@@InkbornHeroes Ah ok, good to know! The rule book made it seem like banishing characters could earn it, but I must've misread it. Thank you for clarifying!
