@@ssteadfast I test it in steel song in exchange for Zeus to work against Prince john, the muses and clocksworth or an ursula before she can sing
The fact that Goofy says "when ~ challenges", not "when ~ banishes" is bananas. Now you have to be conscious of when you quest against ruby because they can just gain 2 lore for 4 ink if you leave a character exerted.
Yeah that’s a big upgrade!
I really like the combo of Sorcerer's Hat and Bruno where you can just exert the hat and guess wrong but it still reveals the top card and puts it back.

It gets even longer when you add in the ice block item to make it all 3 attack characters to that list as well.

For Prince Phillip Sapphire, I could be incorrect, but the Resist +1 doesn't seem to specify "until the start of your next turn" so the resist +1 may only last during the turn they get support/resist from Phillip, and disappears when your opponent goes, meaning it won't matter unless you challenge with the character on your turn. Please correct me if I am wrong, but that's how I interpreted it.
Yes, I think you're right about that, which does bump him down significantly.
100% correct, it's still meant for supporting a challenging character, not a questing one.
Diablo just an honorable is wild
I stand by it. He’s the most overrated card of the set. But he does deserve to be higher than HeiHei 😂

8:50 I don’t know if somebody already told you, but Prince Philip gives the character plus one resist for that turn only so the resist is really only good for challenging not bodyguards that are just relaxing
I think Diablo 3 drop will be the meta defining card this set and will force all decks to be built with it in mind, similar to evasive Minnie Mouse in Floodborn.
Maybe, but he only really works in 2 decks and he's banished by the bare minimum.
Ursula can exert any character. In the video you said opposing character. May never be relevant but could be. 😊

Not even an honorable mention for Under the Sea? That's my #1. Shift in Kida, sing together Under the Sea = wiping the opponents board. I lost 1 of 10 games so far with it.

I've been building a shere Khan deck ever since he came out, super goof just kind of solidifies that as an archetype now

...And I'm lucky! Got 3 at least of that #1 Goofy, 1 foil!

I’m new. Can Mulan attack the turn she shifts in or does she have to wait a turn?
I'm either going Ruby Amethyst or Ruby Amber. I'm wondering if Evil queen Commanding presence would be a good combo piece for Sisu and Goofy.

I think people are sleeping on the fact that the inkcaster draws a card. I think it might be good in a green/blue deck since you can use it as a sorta second pawpsicle that also gives you a nice effect while on the board and let's you play a few more uninkable. Now granted that ain't necessarily the best color combo but like I think there might potential
I think that people are sleeping on the fact that most of the best Emerald cards are uninkable and often get stuck in your hand. I think that a playset of Inkcaster will be mandatory moving forward. There is no downside. It draws a card, puts an Item onto the board, and then allows you to continue to hit Ink drops when you otherwise might not be able to. It's a solid win.
I do think it has potential, but a week or so ago it was by far the most overhyped card going into the set. I think it's a dangerous card to rely on. But I agree with you; Its draw ability adds a lot.
In my limited testing on pixelborn , it never made a big difference
@@coalhouse1981 it won't make ANY difference if you aren't heavily skewed towards uninkables. At that point, it's just a worse Pawpsicle.

Ariel gets a turn 5 be prepared for ruby amber. Seems decent to me

if this ends up correct, and the top 3 cards are all rare or uncommon, do you think that's a failure of Lorcana's game design or a benefit?
I think it's a benefit - it means you can find solid cards quickly when opening packs. I don't think the best cards should be the rarest. This is intentional with the design of Lorcana too - I believe rarity is more of a reflection of cards with more unique or complicated effects. Cards to build a deck identity around. Sometimes those cards will be top tier, but sometimes it will be a great common staple like Friends on the Other Side or Pawpsicle.
Just wiped this metadeck with my Silver-Red Sheriff Discard deck !
Turn 3 they pull out a Kit cloudkicker returning my sheriff of Nothingham to my hand.,..
turn 4 they pull out Diablo... OK : Sheriff turn 5, 2 damage by twice triggering the Sheriff's power. Bye bye Diablo! Pouf dead bird! Simba (1) draw a card, discard 1 card. Cinderella (2) same power. When they come into play. Then the Bayou offers them the power each turn after questing. Tinkerbell(3) can exert todraw and discard too which all aligne with our deck focus.Bucky makes me discard? Cool take 1 damage! Hypnotize? Take 1 damage! Anything making me discard which makes the sheriff cause 1 damage to Diablo (Or Merfolk, or any singer). Then any of my characters with the power like THE HUNTER can draw a card and discard to trigger the sheriff a 2nd time. Diablo is out of its league vs my deck any day.
I’ve heard from various reputable sources that Diablo is THE card of this set, which if I’m honest was something i suspected when I first saw the card
He’s good, but he is banished by any 1 single removal card.
He's pretty cracked in multiplayer though. Yeah, there's technically more removal, but if you're pulling premium spot removal with your 3-drop, I call that a win.

Muses nowhere to be found is crazy
Super Goof saw 0 play because 1 : in ruby amethyst Peter Pan's Shadow is the same cost yet quests for 2 and has evasive and buffs your rushers on top, so why would you ever run him over that ? In Ruby sapphire, your 4 drops are taken up by flaversham or gramma tala, to which again he has no place.
Maybe there could be a red-centric hyper aggro build but there was 0 view

Why do you have to heal the damage off of the self-damage cards...why not use Amethyst to move that damage to an opponent instead? That's how I've been using mine...
I'd rather draw 2-3 cards with Rapunzel than deal a few damage. The damage movement is fun but not as strong as healing I think.
what about signed contract? i think this card is busted if you can somehow counterplay the speed loss. and its inkable if you dont need it.
I do think that's a very underrated card.

I did! I included Baloo, Rafiki, Cheshire Cat, and Cursed Merfolk.
I think super goof is being highly overrated.. Its good but not crazy good.. Most times itll get u 2 lore and die on your opponents turn i rate both big mulan and green diablo higher
That could be true, especially if you are only considering playing him on turn 4. And even so, being able to gain 10% of the winning lore all of a sudden is very strong and can simply win games. 2 Goofs is 4 lore for 8 ink. Bouncing or readying are very powerful and Goofy thrives alongside those abilities.
Yeah, he’s more of a threat late game. Any time I tested him, he felt kinda meh.
RIP Lorcana. A shame Disney decided to kill it. IP too precious.
