It bugs me when my bikes are dirty to as you can see as my cover photo that's my yz it always gets a bath after every ride you need to get this one stuff called back to black it will help make you black plastic shine I use it on a my bikes keep up the good videos bro
Keep your bike. I was riding with some guys on cr’s today a 02 and 04 Cr 250s I have a 01 which I love because of the simplicity. The 02-07 Cr 250s have electronic tps and power valve which make the power band less efficient over time my 01 has top end reeds and mechanical power valve which is easy to adjust and as far as I know the most sought after and reliable cr250’s Honda has made since the 70s. I would definitely keep it. Just work the kinks out and get it running 100% it should have more bottom end then high gears yz250 and the same top end and it handles better than my 01cr250. It might take some wrenching but in time it will have no problem hanging with modern 450s it just needs dialed in. Riding it regular will burn off excess fuel waste in the power valve and exhaust it should sound more pipey and be more responsive. I bought my bike used and after probably 4-5 hrs of riding and standard maintenance it’s like a different bike. Trust me if it’s running strong it will be more bike then you’ll need. It’s like a girlfriend you have to put in what you want to get out. I debated selling my bike, so many ppl wanted it that I second guessed selling it and now I’m pleased I didn’t! Keep the vids coming bro!
I might pick up some vforce reeds if i keep it but its been really hard to turn down 1k of profit just by putting a new style plate and fender on it.. but i turned a couple down just because of how much i like this bike, my goal is to keep this bike and sell the crf running or not, id be losing alot but its just not getting spark, i have some time tomorrow im gonna mess with it
Yea I for sure understand I paid 1200$ for mine I’ve put 300$ in it and I listed it for 3k firm, and my phone was blowing up with ppl from all over willing to buy it. I backed out multiple times, but the more I ride it the more I like it. But hey profit is profit. I enjoy some good cr250 content!

Yes they are, i heard the 2000’s are better because they have the mechanical power valve instead or the electric rc valve which has a slight delay, not much and you probably wont notice but ive just heard it makes them snappier than the newer ones

My water pressure and my piece for the hose makes it about 75% of what a pressure washer is lol so im fine (:
You should keep the cr becuase so far it’s the only bike that’s not gave you that much trouble

Does your bike have vforce 3 reeds? If not that will make it feel like a new bike there a little pricy but it’s worth it!
