I have done alot of body work restoring and can appreciate the amount of work it is. You are doing a great job though and investing the time to get it done!
Be careful mixing brands of material. I use Evercoat myself, it's great. But be careful mixing brands of filler, and use a single paint system from primer to clear.
That’s a ton of work, looking great so far! Rage Ultra is the best filler on the market, imo. Almost no pinholes and sands like baby powder. You should get your hands on some dry black powder guide coat. Guide coat will allow you to block those edges and dial them in. It will also let you find any low spots so you can fill them in, or sand them flat to get super flat panels. As hard as it is, another recommendation would be to try and keep your body surface as dust free as possible, and the floor as well. As daunting as it seems to constantly clean trust me, it helps. If you use a small hand held brush and vacuum or sweep up every 30 mins it helps so you don’t breathe all that dust in. It also makes a nicer work space and allows you to really see little issues and imperfections with your body lines. Keep up the good work, we are all waiting for the next upload!👍🏾
would love to have you take a fibreglass mold copy when you are done and sell the body kit that could be fastened to the frame and sell the kits like they used to do to put lambo kits on VW beetles...
I've seen work of this caliber from someone in Indonesia working in a garage with a dirt floor wearing flip flops. Is this a compliment? I don't know yet.
the filler panels behind the B-pillars you could use Lexan and paint it on the backside or outside. then youd be able to tape off ovals for the cameras to peer thru
If I was you I would try to make a mold of the finished car before you paint it. So that if you do have an accident you can create new panels in fiberglass. maybe you even could sell kits. I am no expert, but I think I would make sure I could replicate it, even by 3D scanning it and making a mold. PS I have enjoyed almost all your vids great passion and I admire your work on this.
You should reach out to b is for build. They are converting a tesla to a lambo and where going to remove the camera's since they where too high. Maybe you can appear on their channel while assisting them with it and gain some subscribers.
Amazing project. However you mention the location of the autopilot cameras - Tesla has just recalled some cars because their cameras are out of alignment - how are yours going to work being moved?
At first, i thought this project was going to be a pile of hot garbage. Now, after seeing all this hard work you've put into it, i feel bad for you because it's still going to be a pile of hot garbage.
Something about how it looks like a Mad Max apocalypse car when it's in between stages, and then starts to look like a modern car again. Im torn between which aesthetic I like more
I have no clue of that type of work but I find it facinating to see how you do it and how much effort and dedication you put into it. I would you sum up the work hours and mention that sum in every video. Go on, have fun and good success
@@2darkdragon I gave some money because I admire how hard he works. I read somewhere that most channels would be better off if each subscriber gave one dollar than if you watched every video. There is a thanks button to donate by the thumbs up.
Shouldn't you be in a dust free environment so you don't get dust particles sticking to the paint or the surface of the vehicle? I'm sure there's tiny airborne dust particles in that room.
@@cyber_hooligan Well, I've seen videos of other coach builders where their fabrication /paint shops are spotless and their coach building is extremely high end with perfect paint jobs and they do all of their own metal fabrication. They don't need to go through all of these different sanding and bondo, etc.
Finally news from the project ! This body panel work is unbelievably time consuming. It’s a mad builder project. Respect 🫡 Will you go for let say a triumph green roulette colour or something shiny ?
Between the design, unique building, 14hrs shifts, video editing, your normal work (really) and getting this result...you are a fucking legend
U deserve million of subscribers bro
I agree
You are doing a kickass job bro I can't wait to see the finished product!

I know what you are into as I do this everyday. The result is so great. Well done.
"I learned a lot from THAT side..." hahaha love it! Looking good.
The most slept on build on CZcams right now the car is coming along really nicely can’t wait to see it in its final stage🔥🔥
love the build, when you paint i'd recommend keeping positive air pressure in the bubble so you're not sucking in any dust
Excellent job so far. Respect to your dedication and Tesla should hire you in their R&D and design department! Keep it going!
Glad to see you back! This thing looks sick!

Best build on CZcams Awesome!!
Great build
Looking awesome! Love the creativity.
Good luck it’s a lot of work keep going
You need to sell a aftermarket kit for a kit car fiberglass panels for people to do it
Can't wait for this to be finished!!!

Pure awesomeness

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR EONS!
When done I would mould the body/shell of the car in carbon for sure
You should put a fighter plane wrap on it cause that thing is going to fly!!!
This, This IS Metal ARTT!!!
love your project, if you had a paylist for the build im positive you would have doubled your subs
“And you shave your n… your hair” got me

Did you get a new shop ?
🔥🔥🔥 best build on CZcams.
🔥🔥🔥
Wiring the electronics is probably going to be the hardest thing ever
I feel it'll be pretty plug and play no?
Way easier than what he has already done, imo
Bad ass😮💨😮💨😮💨
👏👏👏
Here's an idea....how about making a mold and selling the panels ?!?!
That better have been a sealer primer. If not there will be rust the first wash
No update from 2 months, need next video soon ❤
Surprised you didn't just take this to a body shop.
as a body guy im mortified lol
Problem is is that only you can see the design in you head, nobody will do a good enough job because they are guessing what you want. @17:00 ish

Hard working mofo

My brain hurts from how intelligent this comment is

You going to take it Tesla Takeover?
I don't know how you have time to even film this. Between sanding, showering, eating, and sleeping.
Crazy.... You need way more press
This guy has all the signs of someone losing their mind
Facts. This project actually turning out is a fever dream.
LETS GOOOOOO
"Imagine you shave your b...head"
😏
Haha😂
Bro u should make those ev motors louder just so everyone will stare even more!
