Omg... Male Corrin existence is actually getting acknowledged. It's been too long.
It's been quite a while!
It's about time we got a Legendary Male Corrin. Especially for the Hoshido side of Fire Emblem Fates.
Since we got Legendary Female Corrin who's siding with Nohr, it makes sense we finally got Corrin who represents Hoshido. Also about time we got another Male Corrin variant.
I think I'll try summoning on this banner.

M!Corrin Legendary Hero Yeah my boy and sadly no Omega Yato but i take it for Dragonstone.

Glad he got some nice art. I was kinda disappointed with L!M!Alear's, but I like the look they gave for him. Will be pulling on Reds (need at least one Ike for fodder) and Greens and maybe Colorless since I am missing Gullvieg.

Im glad he finally got in as a legendary. I was hoping hed be a staff unit, because thats thee only one of the 4 weapons they could use in Fates not being represented right now, but a dragon is fine.
For the banner, i think they did him a little dirty. Putting the emblems aside, Alear being run with him is a bit of a kick in the shins. They both occupy the same niche (green dragon fire legendary omni-tank), but i think she edges him out just slightly. It also hurts because she was run so recently in AHR more people would either A) not be willing to pull because they already have her or B) want more of her. Then you put in the emblems who are all ridiculous units, it just feels like while Green is strong, Red is better.
Finally for him as a unit, i love him and think hes great, but in the role of a dragon omni-tank, hes a sidegrade to Female. He can deal with unitss with sweep effects better because he has dr pierce in his special, but will struggle against units like Camilla/Lyon who can deal a massive chunk of damage before hitting you compared to Female, due to the lack of synergy with Laguz Friend in his kit and because he is also susceptible to hush/scowl effects while she isnt, so his dr can possibly be stopped for the important hit. Personally i think his bis b skill is ncd4 because he is a green fire legendary, which means he has to face down Hinoka more and she gets to sweep him because of wta. Also, FEH worded it weirdly, but dragon fang shot says 4 - the current cooldown, so i think that means he can get up to 40% (if the special is ready (4 - 0) * 10%)
Those are some good points. Thanks for the info and the clarifications! I can understand feeling lukewarm in the handling of his placement in the banner. I do agree that his archetype is well represented and even done better in certain scenarios, but aside from those particular "as combat begins" damage characters which many seem to struggle against, he's going to tank considerably well. Isn't there a support skill that can grant NCD to him outside of replacing his B? I'll have to look it up. I rarely get to play with those since NCD effects is always locked against fliers.
I dont think we've gotten a drive ncd yet? I could be wrong, but I feel like feh would have actually exploded if that did come out.
This banner is CRAZY! It's time to go ALL IN! I want Kvasir...Missed her twice already...Please don't make me chose between her or Legendary Male Corrin game...And of course, powercreep continues to spiral out of control. But I don't really care at this point. Just picking up characters that I like...Only sad thing is no Omega Yato Corrin, that is a bummer, but oh well. Dragon sells I guess...

The line-up is certainly strong this time around, but holy moly Corrin himself is just boring. Nothing exciting about that unit, just yet another tanky dragon. He's the least interesting thing about this banner.
Anyway, tempting as it may be, it's a skip (or first circle only, anyway) for me. Because A: I got screwed the last time I tried to pull for Ike already, and I don't feel like repeating it (I hate these banners) and B: summer is coming. Gotta save the orbs for that.
So yeah. Here's hoping we both get lucky on the first circle.
Haha, I can understand the sentiment that he's a bit boring. It's more a testament to the number of tanky dragons we've gotten recently and the preponderance of those dragon skills. Good luck on your first circle!
