Malcolm Spence opened the scoring just five seconds into the game to set a record for the fastest goal to start a game at the U18 World Championship and Tij Iginla scored twice in the first period as Canada eased past Czechia to improve to 2-0 at the tournament. Spence finished with two goals himself and an assist.
