That is a stunning piece of work. I'm still (happily) working my way through your back catalogue so apologies if this displays ignorance of what you have already detailed, but... Would switching out your stepper drivers to eg TMC2208s reduce the noise (it made my 3D printers a lot easier to live with)?
Potentially. When I swapped my CNC from one controller to another I was blown away by how much quieter movement was. But also motor size has a factor. The crane pan is almost silent, where the gimbal motors all make noise both moving and holding position. Mostly when I care I record audio separately and try to duck out the camera move audio etc. Though life would be easier if I could reliably record clean audio from the camera and not worry about the robot motor noises.
