Hi. Tried ironing a piece made with translucent filament between the silicon sheets and it came out right but it had the pattern of the sheet. Used a heat gun (on tile) and got back the clarity but it took a lot of close, careful work. Would baking get a better result?
Baking should be able to restore the clarity all over all at once as opposed to going a bit by bit with a heat gun. Of course it will restore just the top of the piece. The bottom will stil retain the texture of whatever liner it is sitting on while baking. I would test it on a small sample and see. Good luck. Let me know how it worked out for you.
