There is an irony in them being worried about Bryce's durability because of his size when Anthony Richardson is already on the injury report. Seems to me playstyle is a much bigger precursor to injury than size.

I would argue Richardson is on the Injury report due to his lack of awareness in the open field when running. Him maturing will avoid these injuries in the near future. I think you're right and its quite possible they end up as a top defense this year. Playing against rookie QB does inflate your numbers a bit so we'll see how they pan out over more games. It was impressive what they did to the Titans run game. Interested to see their games against packers, buccs, jags in the coming weeks

The ball touches his hands first every play.. WR is the most dependent position on the field. He needs to elevate offense around him like Stroud is doing. All your excuses are valid though.

We're 0-2 but I feel pretty good about Bryce. Minimal mistakes is the best you can hope for when your O-line is swiss cheese and your receiving core is basically non existent.

This is what kills me about the NFL. These young QBs need to be developed and not always need to be thrown into the fire. Patrick Mahomes was developed by Andy Reid for an entire year. He was also under Alex Smith too. Who is very good quarterback when healthy. They need to developed these young qbs or otherwise they're gonna call them a bust by yr 2 or 3. And then send them off to another team just to be redeveloped again.

Bryce Young was playing against a top 3 defense. That is tough no matter how you look at it. No matter who was on the other side of that defense at quarterback they were going to have problems. To me he looked good considering it was his first start against an elite defense. He will get better.

@@Nubako463 He's light. I'm about that weight at 6 feet even and I wouldn't want to step on an NFL field, at least not at QB. I would play DB, because I prefer to do the hitting. Both Russell Wilson and Drew Brees are about 5'10" and 5'11" respectively, but they're also both north of 200 lbs. They're pretty solid. I've always had concerns about Young's size ever since Carolina started taking him seriously.

I agree with a comment I read here. The NFL needs something similar to what MLB has in the minors but tailored to the NFL. Don’t just throw these guys in especially a QB or a rookie who you feel can be a franchise guy. Put a good investment into them by allowing them to sit and learn and develop. Make them hungry to wanna get out there and not just give them a starting position

from the 2 games ive seen of Bryce Young this year, i believe this dude will be good in the future. i saw a dude who could make all the throws that this league need to be a good qb. will he be great is a different story but he will be good. he just need time for the game to slow down for him. Yeah all things considered Bryce played well. Didn't make any mistakes (aside from the fumble) but he's being asked to put the offense on his back and I don't know any rookie QB who can do that.
