Thanks for the close up on the “Curt” 20k hitches, have to check them out for the Bounder to tow my 8k E450 work van with “Stay and play” active brakes. Little disappointed in the F550, it’s only like 15k more to go all the way to F750, and that gives you 22.5 tires & and massive 15 inch disc brakes like on my F53. Everything gets bigger on a F750.
Many advantages to going up to the F750 or other MDT trucks. Better brakes, usually better turn angles too, which can increase maneuverability of the truck and any trailer. -M

Too cool! We live aboard our sailboat preparing to sail around the world. We are currently in the channel islands... if we trade in our life afloat, we would definitely consider RV'ing! Cheers

Hello awesome videos, I always enjoy watching. I have a question how do you keep your fresh water tank from freezing in cold climates?
Thank you. Glad you enjoy our content. Both of our RVs have had heated wet bays (including the fresh tank areas) so that was never an issue for us. If your RV has tanks that are more exposed, you can look into heating pads for your tanks.

I went to the RV show on day 1 & enjoyed it. I was disappointed Fleetwood did not bring any diesel pushers.
Surprising such a big brand didn't have any diesel pushers. Glad you enjoyed the show for the most part
Mark, how much knowledge do you have on super c? I’m looking at newmar and renegade. What if any is your knowledge on the two? Thanks
I have walked through and had a look at at least a dozen different super C coaches. Both Newmar, many Renegade, a couple Showhauler, and some lesser super C coaches.. So, some experience, but not an expert. Showhauler can build on most any chassis you request. Renegade builds on a few different chassis and Newmar has a couple different versions of the Freightliner. All super C have some similar advantages and disadvantages in common. Newmar's experience in class A coach interiors really showed in a quality 'home' part of their Supreme Aire, compared to some others, including their very unique flush floor ability with the 'gasket' feature between cab and chassis. Newmar has an excellent reputation for quality and backing up their products. Showhauler are truly custom. Renegade primary focuses on Super C. So... depending on what you value the most, any of those three have their respective advantages. -M

Thanks for the help. I am looking at the renegade Verona 34VQB, the newmar superstar 3746, and a new company called nexus. The nexus ghost 33DS & 34DS. I’m trying my best to stay under 35ft as the family and i are planning on visiting every national park and others. So we will be doing lots of traveling and not staying in one place for long. So small is key here. Nexus builds on a internationals chassis. Are they good? Again thanks for the help.

Lots of information packed into this Video. Trends come and go. Beige is one of those I will not miss. I see all those toy hauliers and I think of every Tom Dick and Harry tearing up BLM land and leaving garbage their damaging footprints everywhere. I hope it not a real concern.
