Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! are upcoming role-playing video games (RPGs) developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. The games are the first installments of the Pokémon RPG series for the Nintendo Switch. They are enhanced remakes of the 1998 Game Boy video game Pokémon Yellow. They will also contain influences from Pokémon Go, as well as integration with Go, and will support a new optional controller called the Poké Ball Plus. The games are scheduled to be released worldwide on November 16, 2018
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! are set in the Kanto region and will include the original 151 Pokémon creatures in addition to their respective Mega Evolved and Alolan forms from Pokémon X and Y & Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and Sun and Moon. Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! will feature common elements of the series, such as battling non-player character Pokémon Trainers and Gym Leaders with caught Pokémon creatures. However, instead of battling them like the traditional battle system of other major Pokémon role-playing games (RPGs), the catching of Pokémon creatures uses a different mechanic that is based on the mobile spin-off game Pokémon Go where players throw Poké Balls at a wild Pokémon by using the motion controls of the Joy-Con controller. - Hry

On rivals: "No one likes a bully anymore..." I disagree. I miss bully rivals. Makes you feel a MAJOR sense of satisfaction when you beat them in a battle. I'm tired of the friendly rival shtick. Give me another bully rival character who gets a redemption arc at the end!

I actually disagree personally I’ve always been kind of confused on why the rival is so mean? Like especially when they were helping you do things. Sometimes it makes sense like Silver but in general I like battling with a friend not because their being such dicks that I want them to lose! (Although I hated the rivals in X and Y but that’s because they were weird and way too many and way too easy)
So the creators have said they're never doing a mean rival again. That with new technology people would genuinely hate seeing a 3D person being cruel.
I think it would be cool if instead of playing co-op thru same console, you could have a friend with his own switch join your game with his own inventory and use his own Pokémon. But of course be restricted to using certain Pokémon depending on the progression of the player they join.

Yes, the legendary birds, snorlax and Mewtwo have a battle animation before you are able to catch them. He's not saying that snorlax and Mewtwo are legendary birds, it's just easier saying legendary birds as apposed to articuno, zapdos and moltres. You dumb bro?

For the next Pokemon Switch game, I really want to be able to transfer my Pokemon from my Ultra Sun save file.
Same here. Let them implement the Poke Box thing from the 3DS onto the switch. Hopefully, all pokemon put into the one on the 3DS can be accessed from the Switch.. i dont want to lose any of my guys because of a change of console

With pokemon lets go and smash coming next month it's probably the best time to buy a switch. You forgot that this is the first core series game to feature a third adventure through a region, not including double regions (Johto/Kanto and technically Johto/Sinnoh with the Sinjoh ruins)

Also you forgot Eevee also have extra moves it can learn beside the three you name. It can a move matching all the types of Eevee's evolution types. So like Ice or dark and so on.
I pre-ordered Let's Go! Eevee with the Pokéball Plus. The hype is real. I've been playing Pokémon Go a lot more ever since this game was announced because I gotta catch 'em all, and it's been a ton of fun getting back into it with some friends who kept up with Go all along.

What i would want to know: You can transfer legendaries from GO to Lets GO, right? I've seen the birds in the GO park. Can you do that only once or multiple times? ... Would love to play that minigame with 25 mewtwo ;D
The only legendary from gen 1 that has been stated to not be transferable from PoGo is Mew. Be ready to pay for 25 $60 pokeball accessories for that.
