The free fix is to disassemble old motor going to 1 side of brushes 2 copper squares.put a little solder across this device.remove a capacitor going across both brushes..motor will have more torque.drill hole end of cover use tooth pick to keep inside of motor to be pulled out of brushes.the tooth pick will help ..silicone hole later..free fix ......
I found with my motor the tolerances of the metal shroud surrounding the shaft shrunk which was binding the turning. Difficult to explain exactly where but after close inspection I saw where the binding occured and cut away a fraction of metal so the motor now spins freely.
I had a problem installing a window back. When putting it back, make sure it's placed correctly between the rubber seals that go around the edge of the door / window. I misplaced it (wasn't between the correct seals), so obviously it struggled going up and down due to additional resistance from a misplaced rubber. Other than that it was a relatively painless job that took less than 2 hours to complete. Thanks.
Thanks for the video. The only glitch I had was when I went to roll the window up, it didn't work. So, I pushed the down button and the window went right up perfectly. I don't think the problem lies in the motor, I think it lies in the switch. I replaced the switch first hoping it was a bad switch which it wasn't. I remember seeing a comment for the switch when I bought it on Amazon about it being reversed. Maybe I'll put the old switch back in. Unless I did something wrong during window assembly. The window was originally stuck in the down position and I might not have made sure the motor gear was wound down before installing the works back in. Do you think that might be the problem? Thanks for the video. My car is a 2003 Toyota Camry LE.
My problem is the window glass is on the top dead position (complete closed position), motor already damaged and can not move down the glass. How can I take out two screws which fixed with the glass ? Can you let me know how to do? Please !
After replacing the unit my window doesn't stop at the window up position (closed). it comes all the way to down by itself. do you know why it could be?
@@fixinit need to change motor.. ? and how can i said. it bad..? because last week i can't roll down and yesterday it's down and not back roll up..till now..

You even mentioned it at 6:57 😁 I skipped that part because I taped the window to the top of the door instead of taking it out completely.

Try disconnecting the motor and unbolting the 6 bolts holding the regulator. Be careful not to let the window drop.

Try resetting the window. Don’t use the auto up/down feature when you do it.

my is not the driver side..it is passenger side not working ..
only that one..other 3 window is working ..how should i do it.?
