- In this video Adam teaches you the best way to shape your golf shots. He goes over the proper set up for hitting both draws and fades but the most important lesson from this video is hitting the correct starting line. Big William is hitting through two alignment rods in order to ensure that his starting line is tight and precise. He also sets up a one alignment stick set up to work on hitting a nice butter cut. Kid's got an incredible golf swing
For this man to offer this type of advice speaks volumes of his character… truly an example of servant teaching knowing that it comes back multi fold…
“He’s a unit” - Adam Porzak
Truer words were never spoken.
That is one large human right there.
Amazing description
Hahaha no doubt! That’s also what we call Travis Vick…. Those two boys 😮
This channel is amazing. It has helped me more than any other channel I’ve followed for the last 10 years. I wish it was around back then, but soooooo thankful it’s here now.
Let’s go! This is exactly why we do this, to help as many people enjoy the worlds greatest game more than ever!
Porzak is a legend
This guy is the best instructor in golf right now.
Thank you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
We love what we do!
My swing coach taught me a simpler way. Even tho this is great. Imagine your feet are on a circle that the ball is the centre of. Shuffle around the circle to adjust your alignment for the shot. Don't have to do anything else you will naturally fade, slice, draw or hook.
He taught Dimi Papadotos NZ open champion. 2 time British open qualifier....
Swing along the feet?
Old video but I have a question about the way u teach draw/fade. We USED to set feet to control start direction and face would affect the second half of the shot shape. I take 20 years off and trackman completely reversed that "logic". I personally can't get my mind around the new ball flight laws and I notice you still talk about feet determine start direction. How do we reconcile the old and new ball flight laws, Adam?
Yes I’ve heard the same thing, this is more old school.
Sir, how far from the ball should i visualize the windows for swing path and shaping shot ? Is it about 5 yards ahead or 50 yards ahead. Please advise.
What’s crazy is this channel has doubled its subscribers in like the past 2 months.
I only saw it show up in my recommendations around 2 weeks ago. Perhaps they invested a bit in CZcams placement. Whatever it was, I am sooo glad I came across it
Let’s keep it going!!!! We are doing the same things but we brought big Kev on as our videographer, editor and CZcams chief, he’s been killing it!!!
Porzak Legend
Really, really nice swing
That is a pro swing ! - what handicap does this guy have?
Still waiting on that Fairway bunker tip.
So this is old ball flight laws? I swear I really think this is the right way still. But idk if I have a bad concept or what
👍
wish Adam would have described what he did to hit it lower! otherwise great video
He does this by what's called covering the ball more with his chest
Basically keeping down with the shot instead of standing up and flipping your hands at the ball
If you imagine that you're trying to hit the ball under a tree limb that is around 10 yards in front of you your chest will automatically cover the ball better without you consciously thinking about it
Hope this helps
Chest down, hands past, low finish, knockdown mentality
@@PorzakGolf yes this helps! Thank you! However I remained a bit confused. I remember hearing you on another video regarding flighting a wedge low to stand closer to ball with weight favoring lead side. You didn’t mention chest down and covering on wedges. Is there a distinction that I am missing? Thanks!
@@PorzakGolf said what I was trying to say in far less words 😂👍🏻
I detect a bit of Scottish in that accent
I have to laugh at this big guy. He just wacks them then wacks his shoes. It's like a baseball player with a ritual. Hit wack hit wack. Go get em . Nice job!
Gotta keep the Clubface clean lol
Imp subject, speed of talking and sentence usage may be slow and minimal. Camera should focus more on action not on english speaking
Thank you for the feedback!
@@PorzakGolf That is what I like about you Adam, the different ways you describe the move. Every time it is a little different and I catch a different way of feeling it. Keep talking!
