This really shines a light on the day of a developer. You gotta keep your body healthy and your mind healthy. I loved the cut where it went from you walking at work to you running in the gym. There is a great energy to this video and it's a fantastic watch.

Hey man it’s so cool you’re interested in watching videos like this. Would be cool to chat sometime so I could cover what the weekend is like and what I get up to!

@@onthecodeagain Oh wow. I am super keen to chat. I'll even pay you lol. Although looking at your office, I doubt you need the money. haha. Maybe I'm wrong. If you want me to pay you I will. I pay loads of people on Twitch. I spent 4000 Dollars last year alone. mostly on chicks, but also some dudes. I also donate money to patreon and I consider myself to be very generous when it comes to supporting creators (also mostly chicks). Can you make a video where it's you what is being filmed by someone else?

@@mikeegan5095 Thank you the offices are beautiful but I do not own them. I'd gladly chat for a fee but I cannot be filmed by someone else (schedule etc) If you are paying for girls (and dudes) do you pay the same or are you paying chicks more than dudes. the reaon I ask is because you said you are going to pay me and I'd like to receive as much as possible

That doesn't seem to leave much time for sleeping! I feel that. Here's what my daily routine looks like with 3 kids in elementary school:
    6am: kids wake me up
7am: breakfast with kids, wake up my wife, get kids ready for school
8am: walk the kids to school (this also doubles as my "exercise")
830am: start work (I work from home)
2pm-3pm: walk kids home from school (more exercise!), eat lunch
530-6: done working, eat dinner with the family
    6pm-7: homework, play
7-830: bedtime stuff for the kids
    8-9: various cleaning
Actual bedtime varies by how much I feel like going to sleep. Usually somewhere between 10pm and midnight.

Damn 3 kids is a lot, my son goes to sleep really early at the moment so I need to get home early to catch him before bed.
      "kids wake me up" hahah

just don't get yourself promoted to manager. although you do get a simpler last frame:

Sick video man, always awesome to see this from a fellow SA dev and not another international one. I always forget to ask, you make a lot of videos about clojure and JS stuff but what is your actual stack that you work in and like to use the most ?

    • @onthecodeagain
      @onthecodeagain  Před 10 měsíci

      Thanks a lot dude!
When I started there was a lot of Clojure
Now the stack is NextJS / Laravel + Clojure micro services.
      Its a nice balance
