Same fans who were calling him a donkey not long ago, I'm a big fan of him as well but his big chances missed to goals scored ratio is still horrendous. Big reason we lost us final and semi final. You can't have a striker that misses more big chances than scores. Osimhen and Gyökeres both score more big chances than miss. Jackson has double big chances missed to goals scored
We still need a striker even if he’s done enough to justify staying as the starter. We have no debt there besides other acedemy players who aren’t ready yet. So maybe we don’t need a starter but we do need a good solid experienced backup/ second starter if Jackson has a bad run
No way! We need an additional striker/clinical finisher
And Jackson is doing it in the pl while Osimhen is doing it in a less competitive league
I think we havnt talked about our injuries as much as we shud have.
At a point liverpool, utd and Newcastle convinced the world they where facing a bigger crisis yet no team surpassed us whole season.
We had put all out ficus on firing Poch and forgot the injuries.

MOTM: Caicedo: Assist & created the winning goal with that pass to James.
Idea of bringing Osimhen is not nearly tied up to their stats, but the amount of chances Chelsea are gonna create for with the chances that Jackson missed this season trust me Osimhen would take 80%+ of those chances! Napoli cannot create chances as mich as Chelsea would do for him.

He’s a good finisher which is bare minimum for a 9 obviously, he’s a NIGHTMARE for CBs and his play always frees up space for those around him because of the runs he makes,he has good hold up play, he’s positionally sound and he’s happy to press from the front. He’s relentless in pressing like Gallagher, he’s unbelievable Aerially, he contributes with assists, he drifts and stays central as the situation demands, a bonus is he’s actually a fan of Chelsea

100% poch in. I think we just need 1) experience striker someone who can claw us a goal when we need it and 2) experienced defender. Think of how much better we are at the end of this season than last season
3) a new manager who knows what he’s doing. Look at how long it took Crystal Palace to get going with a competent manager compared to us

Since half time in the Villa game our possession play and ball revovery has been the difference. Those levels dropped a little yesterday. In part because of how direct Forest played. Caicedo immense again. Spot on about him being alone in midfield at times. Great to see Reece back. Nico Jax should be first choice and bring in a striker of a similar level to push him and for rotation

Hmm. Its a tricky question regarding the striker situation. Personally, I would stick with what we have, I mean we haven´t had everyone available. David Datro Fofana is also coming back from Burnley. Maybe an option as well. As I Swede I would love t see Viktor Gyökeres, if we want a proper 9. But I´m open for both options.

We need a talisman at CF (not a back up to Nicolas Jackson). Osimhen is expensive but we have to make the deal happen just like we went all out for Caicedo. We, will score a lot but while volume (Jackson) is important, the timing of the goals (Drogba) is needed for silverware otherwise we'd have the Carabao Cup plus preparing to win FA Cup like Drogba used to do for us at Wembley while not being close to winning many golden boots.
Keep all and build connections confidence etc time will reap rewards 🙂

Josh nice video, I’ve been a fan and I will like to address the talk about the osihmen part. Honestly we really do need him so bad. Jackson is going to improve. With Jackson we can’t make top 4 with osihmen we can compete for the league around him. I’m just saying Jackson still need to learn and learn more. I’ll be very glad to bring in osihmen. It’s going to be hard to let Gallagher go, but it’s what it is. Nice video keep it up mate.

Madness to even consider sacking Poch, he’s had to deal with most of our best players out injured all season and still got to a cup final and an FA cup semi final and our position in the league is a vast improvement on last season, if we can get these players fit and the players that have played for us this season to improve next season we could actually win a trophy
7th or better is amazing by Poch factoring in:
Age of squad
Amount of new players
Volume of injuries to key players.
Poch in or out shouldn't even be a question.

As for the backup for jackson, datro fofana is still on our books and have been doing well at burnley even though they have been relegated, he looked good during the preseason ngl
Jackson is not bad for a striker or forward because if you look at how the team is moving forward compared to the start of the season where he was left up there alone to dry , you can tell that the team set up matters too.
And our wingers and midfielders were horrible at the beginning of the season
We absolutely need Osimhen. There's enough games to go around for 3 strikers. 2/3 will be unavailable during AFCON so 4 would be better. We're not getting Haaland, Mbappe is off to Madrid, Osimhen is keen for Chelsea and I'd be pissed if we miss out on him like we missed out on Aguero.

Why do we need another striker when we’ve got Nkunku? Please just don’t let him get hit by a feather. But the risk of him getting injured again doesn’t mean we have to pay 100m+ for someone else, Jackson is improving and will make a good backup option.

Naaah we do not miss Hudson odoi. He's just recently turned up here and there for Forrst but nothing to be flustered about. He couldn't buy a game in Germany. It might just be as simple as, he found his level and thats that.

Jackson scored a goal in this game, but apart from that he was awful. Wasted opportunities and gave the ball away a lot. Still a lot of decision making issues. Most obvious was towards the end of injury time yesterday and he had the ball deep in the attacking half. Instead of staying composed and keeping the ball, he held onto it too long, was dispossessed and it ended with a corner for us to defend. Gladly we defended that corner but stupidity like that could have been the difference between 3 points and 1. He needs proper competition up front.
I don't hate the idea of sticking with Jackson, I'd rather get in Oblak and someone the back up Jackson

I am ok with you, it better we sign another striker as back up to Jackson. 17 goals return for guy who is player his second full year in professional football is not joke . signing another striker who we are not sure will deliver and putting unnecessary pressure on Jackson isn't wise .
