      I don't. Abramovich really started to fall to pieces towards the end. Consistent poor buying, complete lack of structure, terrible wage structure. Also we haven't won a domestic cup since 2018, haven't won the prem since 2017 we really weren't as good as people think and the champ leagues win really paper over the cracks

      You don't know ball my friend. Graham Potter primarily plays possession based football. Thomas Frank is tactically flexible and adjusts to the opponents style of play to achieve the desired results.
      I believe Potter would have done well at Chelsea given time because he needs time to implement his possession based system including allowing the recruitment team to sign the right players, but the recruitment team was not yet in place for him at Chelsea and the available players were not necessarily best suited for possession football
      Thomas Frank will use the resources available to play in a manner that gets results and exploits weaknesses in the opponents set up.
      So I completely disagree that Thomas Frank is Graham Potter 2.0, they have different tactically approaches

      I think 90% of people agree, but we aren’t privy to the behind the scenes and relationships. Same with Tuchel. If there’s a toxic work environment between the higher ups it’s not going to work long term.     The way this bloke tries to sell the contradiction of the owners wanting to regularly be competing at the highest level in European competitions and at home while at the same time also looking to employ a head coach without anywhere near having the experience in doing so just blows my mind.     I am a Leicester fan, you can have Maresca. No problem at all. He did his best to make it difficult with by far the best squad. His game management was abysmal.

    The fact that they 'had a disagreement' with POCH shows that Tuchel was never the problem. Pochettino is the opposite of Tuchel and quiet by nature and less high profile yet they still sack him.

    Interesting that they're going for managers who have worked within restraints or with bigger clubs. Looks like their priority is a manager who can have a good working relationship with the club hierarchy, with that appearing to be the cause of their issues with both Tuchel and Pochettino.
    On that basis, I'd be shocked if they go for De Zerbi because he doesn't strike me as someone who'll acquiesce to whatever the board decides, even if he might be the more exciting of the prospective options.
