    Although the 8 and 9 pros were often a bit sharper, esp the 9pro, the 7pro often produced the most pleasing natural looking pics. The 9pro seems to still be overdoing it a bit with the oversharpening.

    The new update seems to allow the 7 pros audio to record louder. The 7 pro had noticeable audio recording volume (noise floor & gain, especially outdoors. Perhaps the mics are too sensitive now?) in every comparison. While the 8 Pro mics seemed to have less volume, it was clearer to me...at least on my tinny cell speakers.
    Think the 8 Pro sounded best/less fatiguing to consumers overall.

    7 Pro, 7t pro and the McLaren edition, are so much better when considering the cost. OP should have kept the pop up camera, added wireless charging (8), and flattened the screen (9). That, along with the faster processors, would have moved a whole bunch of people to OP! Big mistake IMO.

      @@josephnevin I generally prefer the 7 Pro for color balance. Only in the dimmest nightscape photos did the eight and nine show better, but in comparison to the 7 Pro this seem like they were a little bit too bright in the shadows.

  • @dam1x92
    @dam1x92 Před 3 lety +7

    Clearly 9 Pro and 8 Pro are better than 7 pro: sharper, less noise, better stabilisation, much better wide angle lens in low light. But between 8 Pro and 9 Pro there is not much of a difference, sometimes 8Pro, sometimes 9 Pro looks better. 9 Pro just have much more sharpening in nightscape mode, so it helps.

    The 8 Pro was much better than I expected though! I actually think it's better than the 9P specially with the ultrawide camera! They all have pretty mediocre selfie cameras though, and the 7P has this green-ish tint.

    9 Pro is overall better balanced package, but not a massive difference in many areas, and the others even seem to get better results at times. The 8 Pro seemed to get more real detail in some shots like the intro clips and in the flower, and in the cat zoom. It's a little over exposed and colours a bit off however (minor)

      @@ArnobPlaysGames with all the trouble that the s20 and S21 series have had, I just don't think that is a true statement. It's been very disappointing and how poorly integrated in engineered Samsung did with the premium components they use. And wait till you get to movies. One plus has done a much better job of dissipating the heat a high performance frame rates.
